Something much on my mind: how much would you sacrifice for a romantic happy ending?

Would depend on a number of things so it's difficult to say. However my definite "will not sacrifice" list is:
Kasumi
Liara

Hmm, rather short if I'm being brutally honest.

Very similar thoughts. I think I'd add the rest of the human race to that short list.

Ed: It really sucked that Shepard couldn't carry on a real conversation with Kasumi on the observation deck. At the very least he should have been able to invite her over to the bar for a drink or two. Darn near every time I walked in there I had a drink...I hate drinking alone.

Not sure if any of you have seen this but they are the achievements for ME3. I guess you could consider this to be somewhat of a spoiler so please be cautious if you don't want to look at possible spoilers. One in particular caught my eye and it is "Liberator - Stop a Cerberus kidnapping." Could this include or involve Miranda? LINK

I know it sounds silly, but it sacrifice everything in ME to get a romatic happy end for Miranda and my Shepard ;)

Hope I'll be able to get a happy end somehow, even if the costs are imense, otherwise I'll be very angry.

I'm looking at it like this, the Alliance, Council, and Cerberus can all burn. My Shepard isn't fighing for the surival of the ungrateful masses, he's fighting to get his crew through this war alive.

My Shepards crew is his family... so this I can agree with.

I like the renegade romance better, it's more of a fight for dominance between the two over Shepard sucking up to Miranda. I think Miranda would be more attracted to someone that challenges her over someone that kisses her feet.

A bit late but I had to answer this.
While I agree, there is a difference between providing emotional support and sucking up to someone.
The Paragon option is more gentle than the Renegade however, Shepard is challenging Miranda's views of herself just the same. "You give your father too much credit."
And if expressing admiration towards Miranda is considred sucking up to her, Renegade is guilty of it as well.
"M:I do damn good work.
 S:You certainly do."

Expressing Admiration towards Miranda does NOT mean you are sucking up to her.

This is something in which you are saying from the heart....a way of expressing your feelings towards her. You're basically confessing that you admire her body and her mind and that you admire her as a human being. The fact that her father gave her these modifications/genes shouldn't stop her from knowing what she has accomplished with these gifts.

By saying, "Yeah he gave you gifts, but you can be proud of what you've done with them," I'm telling her that she HAS accomplished things.

For Example:

1) Saying this shows that she accomplished in bringing me back from the dead which NO ONE has ever done before. This is for her gift of intelligence, and that she should be proud of her intelligence. If it wasn't for her Brilliant Mind/Intelligence and Dedication, I'd still be dead.

2) I say this because she is AMAZING in combat. Her Biotic and Tech Abilities create and Astounding addition in the Battlefield. With her abilities next to mine, Miri and I are Unstoppable. This serves as another Accomplishment in which Miri can be proud of.

3) Despite the fact that her father wanted her to be ruthless, she proved that she is her own woman and that she is free to make her own choices. She was able to negate what her father wanted. She proved that she was strong willed and when it comes to the people she loves, she is there to protect them no matter the cost.

4) I say this also to show that I have fallen for her. Her Beauty, Her Intelligence, Her Dedications/Motivations, Her Humanity, Her Combat Skills, and Her Independence as Her Own Woman captured my heart and that serves as another accomplishment, and I tell her this in that way.

<3<3<3<3

This is My Opinion. This is how I see it. I don't see it as being a suck-up.

@MEF-

Agreed.

Though I never got the impression that her father wanted her to be ruthless. Rather, he wanted his dynasty through her.

He actually wanted her for a Dynasty. She created her so that she could be Smart, Beautiful, and Ruthless.

I think she wanted her to be some type of Tyrant.

Yes it means Shepard sucking up to her. The Paragon romance with Miranda essentially makes him her boy toy. He is a **** and should never be any respectable man's role model. It's amazing how she doesn't turn on Paragon Shepard during the Collector Base decision. I would half expect her to laugh and pull a gun on him. Paragon is a wuss and she will cheat on him in ME3. Renegade is the only way to go!!!!

Are you happy now Luis?

Whatever. If that is your opinion, so be it.<_<

And the fact that you are irratated because of my opinion irritates me, because it serves as a stupid reason for you to be irritated.

It is just my opinion, deal with it.

Yes, but I don't think she would want to be as ruthless as her father wanted.

I know, and I fully agree.

I was saying that I don't think her father meant for her to be ruthless, as opposed to controlling her life with a vice grip.
