What? I never once mentioned a Liara romance.

Then what dialog were you refering to then?  The "She was so cold" one.  Again I fail to see why that would reflect on Liara's interest on her.  Liara was just making an honest observation.

How would Miranda take a poke in the belly button?

I don't know why, but the only thing I can think of is the Pillsbury Doughboy's obnoxious giggling.

She would warp your ass.

And then giggle about it.

Miranda knows why Liara is being very distant with Shepard. She could solve their relationship problem if she chose. Not only does she choose not to (which is fine) she starts a relationship with him.

A challenge, but not an impossible one to overcome.

How so?

Indeed, how so? They all had a hand in bringing each other together.

Having kept vaguely up on news I had sadly come to expect a reduced role for Miranda but surely it's not the case she won't be playable at all and simply be an NPC for her story bit?

That about sums it up.

Why do I get the feeling I took a wrong turn in Bioware land by choosing Miranda and Morrigan?  Should have gone with Liara and Leliana Image IPB

Oh well...maybe Ashley will take me back - I presume things can be rekindled with the VS?

Come on now, Liara and Leliana aren't that bad=]

If Miranda didn't exist, I'd go for Liara.

... That sounded terrible now that I said it. I apologize.

This. Forreal.

That's what you get for picking the "straight" girl. :P

A triangle is insulting. These are 3 decisive headstrong people we're talking about. I can see it happening as a one time thing, but becoming an actual situation would be turning the space opera into a soap opera.

This.

Keep your Days of our Lives out of my Mass Effect, kthx.

I think even a pre-ME2 relationship could work (of coarse I do, I wrote a one-shot to that effect), but you'd need something to happen to allow Miranda's walls to come down and for Liara to get comfortable.

Nah. Slam. Slam is more visceral. Giggle followed by slam. Unless of course you romance her. Then it's an altogether different "slam"...

And I'm done. Good night!

Straight/Bisexual had nothing to do with it. Girls with looks are a dime a dozen. I like my women with personality as well.

I do like all 4 characters - it was a bit of a wrench chossing between Morrigan and Leliana.

I don't know what I was thinking by picking Ashley over Liara first time round - guess the only thing that can overpower me in Bioware games are brunettes Image IPB

If Miranda is not playable endgame I will take Garrus and probably Liara along to press the red button/turn back time/ tell off Captain Reaper

And Warp is far more visceral. The in-game description of the power is "tearing an object apart at the molecular level", or something to that effect. That's like either sending someone through a wood chipper or crushing them.

I always wondered what Liara would say to Miranda in this situation.

I don't think Liara would be mad at Miranda. I honestly think she would wish them well.

And quite frankly, a Shepard/Liara/Miranda triangle makes Miranda look either spineless or pointlessly cruel.

Shepard is the aggressor in the relationship and most likely has spoken to Liara before the romance builds momentum. Miranda isn't seducing him in fact she is reluctant to have the relationship at all. I think Shepard is the cruel one if he dumps Miranda for Liara at LotSB, and Liara is the spineless one for taking him back.
