Don't want to spoil things out here, but it's a specific scene. The central scene of "her" mission, actually. There's no sign of that in the leaked script. And it should be pretty challenging to write because of the number of participants, and the different opinions we should be able to express - and make Miranda be able to express.AgitatedLemon wrote...

This was long before the leak. In August. But since there is no Miranda scene in the leak which could reasonably be called "very challenging", we have speculated it's the one very important scene with Miranda we absolutely know must be there - and isn't in the leak.Avy DiSartori wrote...
Do you guys remember someone said that Mac Walters (actually not sure if it was him or another writer) posted on twitter that he was writing an important scene in which Miranda was present? And it was "a very challenging scene to write"(something like that).. I was wondering if he twitted this AFTER the script leaks or before. If it was after, it shows us that Miranda's part was indeed incomplete(ok, pretty obvious assumption). Also, since he was complaining about the difficulty to write it, it could be something big.. at least bigger than what we have right now IMO.. just speculating though...
Are you referring to a specific scene, or the general ending?

that's a good summary, just add the 3rd option for those who want both.
Definitely
I think fans in both categories would ideally want both, though, so it's more a question of what people would be ready and willing to sacrifice first.
On the subject of missing scenes, I think it's sort of unlikely that the scene in question would be considered crit-path (and thus written by Walters) if Miranda's role were actually limited to what's in the leak. But we shall see.

Oh.
Could you tell me via PM? Spoilers don't annoy me in the slightest

Eh, some of the early flare-up's are justified, depending on your expectations and tastes.

Damn it, is it still one month to release? Yesterday it was one month, too, that can't be.

Was that a joke:huh:? I didn't get it
Yesterday was the 7th, so it's been 2 days since the 1 month mark.

Well, I doubt Walters writes every scene where plot-relevant stuff is addressed. Don't know how they define "crit-path" precisely, but that can't be it, as that would include massive amounts of dialog.
It's interesting, on that note, that the confrontation with *spoiler character* doesn't seem to have any substance to speak of at all in the versions where Miranda isn't there.

Eh, you'll still get to play ME3 before me, though that's due to my own choice. Before I get started on ME3, I want to get my copy of the strategy guide, read it over so I can plot my path through the three games (or at least ME3), then start my canon run with ME1.Ieldra2 wrote...

It would be great if ME3 had a world release, like starcraft 2.

I'll just stay away from the thread for a week.
One thing's sure though, when I get my copy, I'll play 24/24 in order to fully see Miranda's involvement in the ME3 plot ... Oh, and secondarily to finish the game
