I gotta say, it'll be good to see Miranda's face again in ME3, even if her personal content isn't up to my expectations.

That can't just be true... maybe it is the leak, but a showdown between the two of them is something that MUST happen in the game.

Swag, I suppose that's true. But the leaks are pretty comprehensive in a lot of ways as I understand it.

That said, there probably isn't a TIM confrontation.

There are no such lines in evidence. Should things stay that way, or even should any confrontation be handled as an afterthought (some things appear to point in that direction) even should it materialize, it would be an inexcusable omission on Bioware's part. This is one of two main reasons why we've been skeptical of to disenchanted with Miranda's role in ME3. The other is that her ideals of human advancement appear to play no role at all in her story arc. That would be another inexcusable omission.

Miranda's part in the leaked script is noticeably incomplete, though. There may still be something.

I find it very hard to believe that there will be a confrontation between TIM and Miranda, mostly because it has already happened. Offscreen. It is logical to assume that, whatever needed be said between them was already and a second one, this time with Shepard as spectator, might be redundant.

It's not a good reason, as Miranda should, in theory, have all kinds of new reasons to want to confront TIM due to the events of ME3.

The oblique reference you're referring to is just an acknowledgement of the end of ME2, in essence. The substance of the issue (What is Cerberus, really?) is unresolved.

You could be right, flemm. However, it still begs the question: Why  have a confrontation with TIM offscreen, of all things? Whatever they discussed there is something that we would have liked to listen, that much is guaranteed. I hope that I'm wrong and it was simply a case of Miranda having to kill a few Phantoms. Should take another look at the leak.

I'm not saying there will be more in the game (i.e. not making a prediction). What I'm saying is: the line or two you are referring to strike me as irrelevant either way. She's left Cerberus (which had already previously happened in at least some games), so the lines you're talking about simply acknowledge that this has happened and that TIM was not pleased. Even if you were planning on having a more substantive encounter later on, you would need to acknowledge this.
