Ooooooo wow-wee! A 0.25 second long clip.... We are not wooooorthy! -.-

I feel sorry for all you big up Miranda fans, seems like she's had the worst treatment out of all the ME2 charcters (which have been handled pretty lamely on the whole, lets be fair) :( I'm still absolutely 100% shocked she isn't a permanent squad mate.

Why would she had the worst treatment. She has more screentime than most Me2 characters.

Only the "unimportant" ME2 characters. People like Mordin and Legion have either more screentime or better content than Miranda.

Yeah basically. I was just weighing up her role in ME3 against her popularity and premise in the previous game (pretty much the second most main character after shep) and the fact she's an LI.

I think you've guys have been done over by Bioware on this one I have to say, you really pulled the short straw :/

It certainly does feel that way at times.

Like I said a dozen or so pages back, I could write a 10 page essay on why Miranda not having a major role is idiotic (And somewhat counter-productive, even).

Well, if her role were actually limited to the leak, she arguably would, due to the fact that she would contribute nothing unique to the overall war effort and therefore be entirely expendable.

I think it's... probably unlikely that this will end up being true, but there's no way to know.

By contrast, as an example, Jack is in the leak a little less, but she gives you what essentially amounts to a faction for the endgame that you can't get otherwise + another asset.

Her hair is certainly not short. Only shorter. Even then, it only looks like a 1-3 inch difference, so it's nothing to call the cops about.

I don'treally think you needed to add that last bit. Her NOT having an end-game contribution would be just absolutely pants-on-head retarded.

I would have to agree with this.

Miranda is not even my favourite character, probably not even in my top 5 (top girl though;)) But I can certainly appriceate the massive impact she had in ME2 and the substancial charcter dvelopment that went into her. She's probably the most popular ME2 character all in all, maybe tied with Legion. Really can't understand Bioware on this one.

I think Yvonne has a curse on her... Because if you watch Chuck her charcter gets really screwed over during the end of the series in that too

Well, in point of fact, this little clip basically confirms a bit of what we know already (which isn't good).

I'm open to being pleased/excited, but only if there is actually reason for it.

I don't like the likely confirmed implications if there is a third squaddie there. (i can't see him/her though)
Over analysing a one second vid is probably dangerous.
Would love to have something to be pleased/excited over too.

I liked the haircut, and the textures look better. Not a fan of the default femshep though. Looks nothing like the concept and was executed badly in my opinion. Good work on Miri's hair though.

"Ok, then lets give the most important roles to the ME1 crew. Garrus was a nobody, let make him the primarch, and tali should be an admiral."

Well, sure, but that assumes something significant is missing from Miranda's role in the leak, whereas that isn't true for anyone else. Anyway, as I've been known to say from time to time, I think something significant is probably missing from what we have. But... that's yet to be confirmed.

Reminds me of the Madden Curse (Whoever is on the cover art for a Madden game will have a terrible season, and his team will suck)

I wouldn't give the dev team that much credit. I think people who you help might show up at the end to lend a hand, but having something to offer to the central plot is hoping too much.

I'm not a Miranda fan. Some (That some being, well, me) would say she's the worst written character in ME2. Maybe that's just because I'm such a Jack fan, but I digress.

It does seem stupid to me she wouldn't be playable in the third game. Pretty important character. And just because people like me kill her in almost every playthrough doesn't mean most others do.

But I guess it's probably because Cerberus is your enemy. I know she *can* quit at the end of ME2, but that's only IF she's in your squad and IF you choose to destroy the base. I'm assuming she sticks with them otherwise...

I thought Garrus was just a *spoilers* and Tali was a candidate for becoming a *spoiler*

Either way, they don't really need or deserve it.

As a general rule, "might be dead" characters give you options and assets that you don't have access to otherwise. The scenarios vary a lot, but that is how it works overall.

Her ME3 content is... pretty anti-Cerberus, in regards to the basic overview.

I don't want to sound like I'm judging your views, but why do you dislike Miranda so much?
