Do you have both on PC and 360/PS3?
Ah, seems like you took the gradual approach. I went from Casual and jumped the Grand Canyon to Insanity. However, you may find that Insanity's not that difficult - at least oce you have everything figured out. And yeah, take her for the duration - nqa!

Considering she's the opposite sex, that would be a bit difficult/awkward for me. I ultimately identify with Shep, but see Miri as the type of woman I'd want (goes beyond simply being portrayed by Yvonne).jtav wrote...
Does anyone else see Miranda as the person they identify with, rather than Shepard? She's something of a self-inset for me, the fantasy figure I'd like to be.
Tbh, I'm that way as well.Ieldra2 wrote...
It's a little like that for me too. I usually play female protagonists if I have the choice, and Miranda would be *the* dream protagonist for me. Only I find it hard to do in ME2 with Shepard's overpowering presence, and since I'm male in RL I get drawn into maleShep more easily than you.jtav wrote...

I see things differently. It's not like real life. Instead, I see it as writing a story - my Shepard's story. As such, I want control over the plotlines and my characters' influence on them as much as the game lets me. I'll play my first game with a low-spoiler approach (meaning I won't actively go hunting for them) but my main Shepard will be the one whose story I can control. As for which outcomes I choose, that depends on my Shepard's imagined personality.Jebel Krong wrote...
meh i don't really see the point in retroactively replaying characters to get a supposed 'optimal outcome'... life doesn't work that way, and if you do it in-games the only person you're cheating is yourself.Prudii Aden wrote...
All this talk of consequences made me realise that of all of my male Shepard playthroughs where Ashley is still around, none have remained with her. I'm almost tempted to see if I can get through ME 2 without romancing Miranda...

I find the hate expressed here disturbing. I prefer clean kills. A single bullet to the head, preferably by Miranda should she choose so. And I'll hear him out before that.jtav wrote...
Run him through messily and painfully. I want that bastard dead.

You mean as a s/s option?
I was saying exactly that. I'll start with a low-spoiler run, making decisions as they seem right to me at that time. In most cases, my later canon playthrough will have identlcal major decisions.Jebel Krong wrote...
I know what you're saying but imo your analogy is flawed - you're not writing the story yourself - any more than you control the outcome of a film or book, but you can shape it, to a degree, only your method reduces that flexibility further in search of your 'ideal story' ironically therefore further aping the other mediums in the process. I do the same thing myself of course, eventually, for my canon playthroughs, but I always start with a 'natural' run, which is generally close to my ideal anyway, I find.

Why? All I said was that I am a Devoted Mirimancer/Mirimaniac. Why do I deserve a shot in the head?
My god! Can someone PLEASE tell me what I did wrong?

Oh calm down i was only half-serious, but tell me: do you think miranda would respect someone who thought or came out with something like that?

Tell me, what the hell is wrong with being a devoted Mirimancer/Mirimaniac?
All I said was Devoted
Which means very loving or loyal.

Sorry, Ieldra. I was pushed pretty hard as a teenager, but not to the point of abuse, so it's all just a little bit more personal. Parents who mistreat their children are my personal Berserk Button.
