This logic fails. Not only is Miranda *literally* the hardest squad mate to kill in the SM (She can survive some roles even if unloyal), but Garrus and Tali bypassed that same logic.

I knew ME2 squadmates were getting shafted in ME3. None of them even return as squadmates for ME3.

They all get their little cameos as long as they are kept alive... but yeah, that's it.

I think a major fan disappointment is to come.

I'm in the camp that I don't think we've received all the information that happens with Miranda. I think it was incomplete. Parts are missing. I am very excited and hopeful they will treat her fairly and reveal the important stuff we asked and wanted to know. We'll find out March 6th. *Crosses fingers* refuses to **** until I see the game.

A refugee camp is not very Miranda-esque, is it?

But the fact that there is no mention of it on the second leak could be an indication that her role was unfinished at the time.

I have to disagree!  It's been used and I dislike it.  It was interesting in the book but sheesh... I don't like seeing Miranda tortured.  Maybe it's just me being "protective" of Miranda.

I can't fault them for Tali. The geth-quarian conflict is a big deal, as is organic vs. synthetic generally.
