In comparison to some of them, maybe. Mordin and Legion's roles in particular seem far larger.

All I need is a hint that Miranda's focus isn't exclusively on her sister, that she's actually doing something to affect the big picture, and not just by accident but by design. Ah, and I need to avoid any interpretation that all Miranda wants is a normal life. If I get that, I'll be able to live with whichever other less than optimal aspects her presence might have.ThomGau wrote...

The smart thing to do seems to wait, which is what I'm going to do.
Agreed, "wait and see" is probably the only thing we could do.
I assume we won't have any other official infos related to Miranda until March 6th (or 8th:?).
I'm still hoping we'll have a decent role for Miranda in ME3, even though I'm pretty sure it won't satisfy all of our expectations but for once, I'd be happy to be wrong.
Edit:
Nice screenshots, jynthor.

I don't think we're going to get quantity, so quality seems to be the only saving grace.

I'd be happy with quality as well, but (Exaggerating here) if she has 5 minutes of screen time in a 40 hour+ game, I'm still going to be unhappy.

Keep your controller and your tomatoes for BW if we have a five minute screen presence for Miranda.

(1) Miranda should be heavily involved in the Cerberus story arc. This story arc needs a meaningful, satisfying concusion, including Miranda being present at TIM's base, or at the final confrontation with him, or, failing that, some interaction with TIM. (personal comment: I think there is no alternative than to have her present at TIM's base).
(2) Balance between the professional and the personal. Miranda's arc should have a personal element, but not to the exclusion of her professional side, and her involvement in the bigger picture.
(3) There should be a full romance arc, including a romance scene.
(4) Endgame impact should be as epic as possible.
(5) There should be as much interaction with Miranda as with any squad member, as far as primary dialogs are concerned, and it should be handled in person if at all possible.

Think we are in fear now. Don't worry though hope is apparently next up.

All I want is a Miranda vaguely resembling the one in my head. I can't believe anyone actually wants this.
I've prettymuch agreed with your characterization of her thus far. It's certainly preferable to the concerned big sister/mommy complex they gave her for this chapter.

For the sake of the leak I think we can lump fear and anxiety into the same category.

I'm hopeful, I'm really looking forward to playing this game, moreover, I can't wait to see Miranda in ME3 but I'm septic at the same time. Maybe there some frustration as well, given the special treatment some "expendable" characters have been given (you know whom I'm talking about).

I think I do.
If I'm correct, I'd rather not think about it. Enough disappointment for one day.
