Indeed she is a minor character and quite frankly, I don't know how she could possibly achieve to provide such an asset.
Only an extremely ressourceful person could possibly help that way ;)

Like Oleg Petrovsky.

*Spoiler Snip.*

To be fair, nothing says it will be anything more than a  small addition to a cut scene. If that's the case then it could be anyone.

Some people say that Miri's Outfit will be a black color based on Loyalty. What if a player had her Loyal, but also kept her in the White Outfit? Will her Outfit still be Black in ME3?

*Miranda and Jacob's missions are mutually exclusive, and you get TIM's location and indoctrination research from either. You also get a fleet or ground troops depending on the mission and whether the key character survived*

I doubt it, tbh. But whatever, it's speculation.

I can see why Bioware would implement a choice like that, though.

That speculation makes me think of something. During the SM, you can get either Miranda or Jacob to lead the fire teams with equal success. While Jacob's military background, I was able to swallow him doing well with zero problems. With Miranda I had a bit of trouble believing it, especially when everyone on the team is so suspicious of Cerberus and her in particular.

The reason he doubts is because Miranda's mission is treated as a much bigger deal, but both options are achievement granters and give the same main plot reward, so I think so.

Miranda is a leader. I bought it.

Miranda's dominant, in a ship full of dominant personalities. That causes problems. Jacob and Garrus getting respect is believeable, but Miranda can be seen as overly confrontational, which you think would cause problems.

Miranda's passive says she's a great leader. That said, in RL I'd never put her on the same team as Jack.

Especially considering Jacob is the guy to TAKES the orders, not give them.

And he says (If you choose him to keep Garrus alive during Garrus' RM) "You sure Commander? Doesn't seem like such a good idea...", but he has no problems leading a fire team through a suicide mission.

I think Miranda is one of those leaders who commands obedience but not personal favor. Unlike other situations, the squad mates can't really go off on their own in the Collector Base and ignore their leader without putting themselves and others in serious risk.

And in the beginning Jacob says he is a marine who follows orders.
