I won't have a Sentinel (unless Prothy is one). *shrugs* It's probably no big deal anyway. My ME1 squad is/was usually some combination of Ashley, Wrex and Tali. I loved having Ash and Wrex even though I'm almost always a Soldier because the three of us have pretty high HP, enabling us to take a pounding.

AFAIK, there isn't a Vanguard on the squad either.

Not that either of them are totally necessary, but they're both needed for balance, and both of the other squads have had Sentinels.

Especially considering something like 80% of people who play the game killed off Kaidan.

I must say I'm going to miss Miranda a great deal. I'm curious about the Prothean, and as long as I can avoid Liara, Garrus and Tali I'll be ok with my squad, but still it's not the same.

Anyway, Miranda not being on the team also heightens my anticipation for meeting her again. Don't they say separation does wonders for relationships? I only hope her content is good and she's suitably badass and generally impressive.

Partially to make up for his repeated acts of questionable intelligence."Shepard you're not seriously going to open up a tank containing a Krogan", "Shepard, you're going to activate a geth on board this ship just because of your damned curiosity?", etc. 

Also, after getting the "I'm busy right now I'll come by when it's quiet" line repeatedly having Shepard hand Miranda a datapad with the day's reports on it seems like it would be a good way to deal with it.
