-Shockwave isn't as useful as it used to be in ME2. Lower levels of it will knock down a single opponent but that's about it.
- Pull/Push has pathetic range at lower levels, you pretty much have to be right on top of the enemy to use it effectively otherwise you just launch it and watch it fizzle out ineffectively
-Cooldown is your mortal enemy. On the harder difficulties there's about a 15 second cooldown period between uses of biotic powers.
- For the love of the Maker, don't hit the Nova button. It does massive amounts of damage at close range....but then you have no barriers and you then get killed.
-The Biotic Punch ability is awesome, nothing is more fun than charging into an enemy and beating them down with your bare hands.
- Whatever Meer's been doing in the VA booth I hope he keeps it up. Right now his VA performance is vastly improved.

Every class has that problem, since each class is loaded up on firepower (BTW, shotgun gibs and headshots are win)
(15 and a half friggin seconds for Warp to recharge (Sentinel) is retarded)

I honestly prefer Miranda to Yvonne.
That may be my bias towards brunettes though.
Anyway, about to try the demo for the first time. I'll start as a FemShep Infiltrator, then MaleShep Soldier.
That sounded suspiciously condescending.
Unless I'm just acting paranoid.

Fairly certain Td is referring to Miranda's "may-as-well-not-exist" sized role. Or the fact that we aren't really going to see her again after ME3.
I know I'm going to be deeply saddened when I finish the game.

Long cooldowns aren't exclusive to the Vanguard.

The issue I have is that they've gone and changed most of the classes into some sort of soldier derivative. Biotics and powers in general are useless if you can just shoot your way through a situation. Either that or we're going to get research or upgrades that heavily reduce cooldown time.

I don't know about research or upgrades (Though upgrades do reduce charge times), but you can Charge spam as Vanguard (With just a pistol, like during the Earth escape)), since the cooldown is less than 3 seconds long. It's going to be the same with all the other classes, and their powers.

And happy endings should be mostly of screen. We only need to know that everything's going to be okay.

Because ________.
That's what.
Miranda doesn't like being bogged down by the weight of the weapons.

You wouldn't either.
Try wearing that armor, plus all of those weapons + heat sinks + grenades.

Yep. That chokes me up too. I laugh happily with tears in my eyes when I see the Normandy coming in to pick up Shepard. It's the music!

I agree, at most I'd like some sort of allusion to what will happen next:
Captain's Quarters
Shepard: What's next?
Miranda: What do you mean?
Shepard: Assuming that we defeat the Reapers, and that we both get through all of this in one piece what are we going to do next?
Miranda: (chuckles) No plans to become Admiral Shepard, Hero of the Known Universe?
Shepard: I'm not exactly the paper-pusher sort. How about you?
Miranda: I've been toying with an idea.
Shepard: Go on.
Miranda: Once this is all over, humanity's going to need someone to look out for it in the days ahead. Someone who'll help to make sure that whatever future we create is our vision not the Council's or anyone else's. Considering that the whole of human civilization is in shambles humanity has the oppertunity to turn itself into a true galactic civilization. I think that we can turn the Alliance into something that our race can be proud of.
Shepard: I'd like to see that idea come to fruition.
Miranda: I haven't exactly planned everything out yet, and ideally, it would need Alliance support which might not be easy considering my background.
Shepard: I could always put in a good word for you, "Hero of the Known Universe" has to count for something.
Miranda: (smirks) That sounds like a conflict of interest Commander Shepard.
Shepard: Well, I just so happen to love my conflict of interest. (kisses Miranda)
