Can ANY of you imagine Miri in Command of her own Ship?

Actually, no, not easily. I can imagine her flying a stealth courier ship controllable by one person - and also remotely controllable. Something useful to get from place to place without being seen and making stealthy drops and pickups for covert operations. But I don't think she's the type to command a frigate-sized ship like the Normandy.

I have to agree with this, I can't see her commanding a vessel, being in charge of a space station is a bit different thing. She could work as superior officer for a ship's captain, but I don't think she has the expertise to command a vessel by herself, not a large one at least.

To be completely honest, I could very easily see Miranda performing a role similar to TIM. Leading each cell or branch of the organization, while simultaneously handling the logistics and resource distribution, as well as taking reports.

IE, the "armchair tactician", maybe stepping out of the armchair on occasion and involving herself directly into the operations.

She commanded what looked like a frigate in Redemption.

Maybe, but that wouldn't include taking command of a ship directly. There would have to be someone working as middle man, not even with AI like EDI onboard.

I'd take the AI over a middle man, but thats just me.

And I wasn't saying anything about her running a ship. I have no idea if she could do it (Or if she even has experience).

I think I know why the Demo Lags from 20-30 FPS for me: When I got my Laptop back, I was given the Wrong adaptor.

My AC Adaptor was a High Performance Adaptor. The AC Adaptor which I have now reduces the Performance of My Laptop. It even said it in a Message on My Laptop.

I SINCERELY hope the Final Product of ME3 has a Better FPS.

It can't be My Laptop because:

17.3 in HP Pavilion

ATI Radeon 6550

6 GB RAM

4 GB Graphics

EVERYTHING for ME1 AND ME2 is on Maximum Setting, including the Screen Resolution: 1600x900, and the FPS Mostly Ranges from 40-60 FPS.

You should be able to run it pretty decently with that setup.

Finished the demo. All in all very nice, though writing in the intro is really, really bad. I hope that doesn't set the tone for the rest of the game. Playing feels immediately familiar, but I miss Miranda so much that it hurts. Not having her on the team will be harder to bear than I thought.

At least we will get to see her face again, if only for a few minutes.

leet's see, i'll see that face of Liara, garrus, tali for hours (character that I began to despise for the pandering), and I'll only see Miranda face for 5 min??

It's just doesn't make any sense for me.

MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 i had that problem too. My laptop is dell xps15 with nvidia card. On the beginning my first thought was wtf why so slow? Problem was in optimus software... I was playing on this intel hd 3000 graphic card when my nvidia was of. Solution i had too force ME3 to run on nvidia card manually...
in laptops with optimus i had click right mouse button and chose run with high power graphic card. I think that radeon should have simillar system.

Pretty much.

Even I (and I think Garrus is one of the best squadmates, in combat and out) am beginning to hate team Dextro. Liara, not so much, I still like her. She wasn't *literally* forced down our throats for 3 games.

I'm all for fanservice, but not to the point where it actively and negatively affects my playing experience.

Yes please. Though it's a little too late isn't it. hah! Hopefully maybe some DLC if the content involving her isn't that big.

I'd gladly pay money for more interaction with Miranda, or even to unlock her as a squadmate.

I don't even care if it turns out to be locked-on-disc (In the same style as Gears of War 3).

I see no reason why Miranda can't captain a ship successfully. The only thing she seems to lack is experience but hey, everyone's gotta start somewhere. Actually her having her own ship was one of my acceptable "alternate scenarios" for not having her on the Normandy. Ah how full of hope those sounded...

Only to be mercilessly crushed by Bioware's refusal to give the female lead of ME2 who's got the closest connection of all to ME3's secondary antagonist an adequate role.

OK...we don't exactly know that yet....

As for the ship, of course she would have the ability to captain a ship. But I don't think she has the inclination. Commanding a ship with a large crew would not be a calling for her. She'd prefer a ship just big enough to transport a small infiltration team. Also she'd pilot it herself.

Same here
I never was a big fan of Tali so it doesn't really change my appreciation of her, it just amplifies it. As for Garrus and Liara, I used to like them but now, I'm not so sure.
Damn you favoritism !

She appears to have a bit of fun with Shepard in the engine room

OK, seriously, it depends on your definition of fun. She likes classical music, so I'm sure she spends some time listening to it. The problem is she's a workaholic and gives herself not much leisure time.

Right. Since when is classical music fun?

Does she never tell a joke?

Depends on what you mean by "fun". Like, going to theme parks and plopping down to play some video games... Probably not. Miranda has always struck me as the type of person with refined tastes. An obvious example is her fondness for classical music. She could very well enjoy going to see live concerts, or even playing some of her own.

Miranda and my Shepard can do a myriad of activities together.

edit: She considers herself to not be funny, but she's shown on numerous occasions to be very funny, if unintentionally. For example, on Korlus, when dealing with the injured Blue Suns merc.

Depends on your tastes. If you like it, classical music can be very fun. Same goes for someone who likes hip-hop or country or soul or whatever.

Miranda is not funny at all. The only funny thing that came out that romance was Shepard's rape face.

I wouldn't be in a relationship with somebody who can't have a laugh or a joke, or a good time. That is why Miranda's romance isn't fun. The only good thing is her ass. That's why most people romance her anyway.

Don't you think it's a bit tautological ? :P

To be serious, of course she does, like Ieldra said, I think she was having fun with Shepard in the engine room.

Although she may not fully believe she really deserves to have fun. Perhaps working a lot is, to her, a mean to justify the few fun moments she may have.
In any case, I believe a romanced Shepard may have changed her mindset about this particular question.
