I agree with the problem with Chuck, he's more concerned with being a spy for Sarah than he is about the fact that he can use the Intersect to protect others. Normal guy gets the girl and then spends the next two seasons dealing with feelings of inadequacy.

What I like about the Shepard/Miranda romance is that they're essentially equals. ME3 Shepard really shines because he readily admits that he loves her brilliant, super-operative side, he's amazed with what she did with the Lazarus project. Its less of "You're perfect, I'm perfect let's have sex" and more of a genuinely loving relationship established off of a mutual respect.

Chances of Miranda becoming a permanent or even temporary squadmate are looking slimmer by the day.

Should have known when they revealed Ashley's new look. The Normandy has only enough space to accommodate two melons.

Exactly. He had his crisis in season 1 and 2, and he was much more heroic and brave with everyone before he became a spy. The biggest slap in the face was Prague. I honestly can not comprehend how they thought it was logical for Sarah to forgive him after Prague. Especially when you consider her life with men. Her father, she loved him and he always left. Bryce she loved him, a big part was that he was compassionate about others like Chuck in the beginning and he died. So Chuck betrays her and she forgives him? I'm not buying it, that's just bad writing.

Dunno about anyone else, but I still think Miranda is more attractive than Ashley, even with Ashley's boob job and hair.

But yeah, at this point, I think the stars need to align and Jesus needs to be born for squadmate status.

I liked ME1 Ashley, reminded me of Michelle Rodriguez, this shift to make up for the traditionally attractive female on the ship feels cheap and taudry. I would've preferred the tough marine tomboy they had in ME1. When did variety suddenly become a bad thing?

She's still a tomboy. She just changed her look.

From everything I've seen, her personality is still intact.

But her look is inconsistent, at least with what we've seen in the past to games.

I didn't really expect her to be stuck in a time loop in the 3 year gap from ME1-ME3.

Fair enough, I just wished the look would've been consistent with her personality.

Was thinking of what would be the best movie from the 20th century for Miranda to see and came to the conclusion that it would be 2001: a space odessey. HA

I'd still think that with her love of classical music, she'd find an appreciation for classis literature and film. I image Tolstoy or DSM on her bookshelves and Bogart movies on her computer.

I like Ash's character, but I'm not really sure that I want to continue the romance. Playing the "Carth Onasi can't trust you" game doesn't really interest me.

Being called a traitor and getting left out in the cold by the Alliance didn't really engender him to the idea of returning. Cerberus might not be as noble as its intentions, but at least they do something about the state of the galaxy, they might be the enemy in ME3 but Shepard doesn't regret the time he spent with them.

Actually I think as far as BW is concerned, we're playing Jesus.

Maybe the other characters have a better arc, but the romance arc of Miranda is the best of all characters.Image IPB

Just someone saying Miranda's face wasn't good looking and a Chuck discussion.
