So very much. None of my favorites is on the ME3 team. I was starting my final ME2 playthrough yesterday and yes, it's bittersweet. For now. I'll wait with the berserker rage until the game is out. I hope I don't have to use my stockpile of tar and feathers.

BTW, I can't say this new information that there won't be any temporary team members comes as a surprise. There was strong evidence for that in the leaked script, and they way they used Mordin and Wrex in the demo - particularly that utterly contrived way of keeping Wrex, of all people, out of the action - was the nail in the coffin of "temporary team member". It doesn't even bother me as such - Miranda can still have a good story and a large role - except that they're not beyond letting characters pop in and out of a mission for their interaction in - as I said - utterly contrived ways.

Have devs officially confirmed no temps or are we just assuming based on leak and wrex in the demo?
The Wrex thing made me wince by the way, thinking of all the times during the game i'm going to be scowling at weak contrived excuses.

No official confirmation, but the evidence of the demo, the phrasing of mission narratives in the leaked script and the new rumor all point in the same direction. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't true.

My ME2 discset is now going to be one of my most precious gaming items.

Alongside my Commodore 486.

Luckily for me, I have the ME2 boxart as my site background, so if I ever lose it, I can still look at it.

That, and my discs are kept in a 40-page CD wallet, so I'll always have those with me.

It would be terrible not to have her as one of the main roles. But I am afraid it may be the case. She is not mentioned in the ME3 section from the new book "The Art of the Mass Effect Universe", not sure if that hints her appearance to be minimal and insignificant.

I was hoping to see how she would deal with Ashley if both of them have been Shepard's love interests from ME1 and ME2.

Damn it, that's awful.
It's as though Bioware wants your Maleshep to either:
a) Leave Kaidan Alenko to die. Why hate on the Sentinel!?
Take advantage of a child (Liara) whose life he saved.
c) Take advantage of a bashful Quarian whose life he saved.
d) Go it alone.

If Miranda isn't a squadmate in ME3 they must at least make her part of the Normandy crew.

The main pic of Miranda is certainly old, yeah. I don't recall seeing it with precisely this background, but that may also be old (anyway most of the avatars in the ME3 section are old images).

Dammit Why is the Demo having Frame Rate Issues in the Earth Attack Part of the Demo? Even in the Main Menu the Frame Rate DROPS to 20-21,22,23 Frames Per Second. What the hell is going on?

Is this because BioWare hasn't fully Completed ME3 so that the Frame Rate cold be Higher?

My Laptop:

17.3 Inch Laptop: HP Pavilion

ATI Radeon 6550

6 GB RAM and 4 GB Video Graphics.

I have ME1 AND ME2 at 1600X900 Screen Resolution with the Settings on High, and the FPS for BOTH Games go MOSTLY from 40-60 FPS.



I have the ME3 Demo with EVERYTHING at Maximum.

My Laptop has the Screen Resolution of 1600X900, so what's wrong?

Hell, even some PS3 Players are having the same Issue.

 I want to write a fanfic in an alternate universe where TIM keeps his personality traits from ME2, and does not become a cheap villain.. therefore, Shepard will keep working with cerberus, and Miranda does not resign at all. 
The plot will revolve around Shepard's and TIM's quest to save humanity from the iminent reaper invasion, which means aquiring as many allies as possible before It's too late. But, before convincing other species to join their cause, the two men need to change the Humans image throughout the galaxy, often seen as selfish and greedy. they will need to learn how to deal with their exorbitant differencies as well, since they know they need each other in order to succeed in such impossible odds. (Shepard will be portrayed as a Paragon, war hero, earthborn and emotional kind of man. TIM as a pragmatic, logical, cold-hearted man, obsessed by human superiority). 
Throughout the story, Cerberus moral ambiguity will be analysed in deep, as well as TIM's past and true motivations (informatons taken from Mass Effect Evolution comics). There will be also lots of romance and drama, as Miranda gets divided by her pragmatic and cold mind, and her heart, full of unexpected love.  -Zaeed will return to his position as Blue Suns commander(help from cerberus) .
-Mordin comes back from retirement to help the STG as well.
-Kai Leng will be a problem despite his cerberus filiation.
-Shep will be paired with Miranda (obvious).

what do you guys think?
