So? Who cares? Miranda seems to prefer to let her actions speak for themselves, anyway. Going to amazing lenghts to keep Oriana safe or going behind TIM's back to send Jacob the data about his father are her way of saying "You're important to me".
Just have a scene in ME3 where Miranda does something amazingly risky just for Shepard and you'll be able to hear my fanboy squeeing from across the globe.

This is going to be a very interesting place in a few weeks...not saying it isn't interesting already.

On my first playthrough, when I saw she switched back to her white catsuit I was like " Hu ? That must be one of Miranda's super secret techniques ! Such a mysterious women, full of surprises "

Yes, my canon male Thomas and her go back 20 years. He's an Earthborn and she was the one to get him off the streets, so he trusts her completely.

"Miranda unzipped" is actually a different model from the one used aboard the ship or in combat. They never made a "loyalty" unzipped model therefore it had to change to the white every time. Why they didn't make one is anyone's guess. Lazyness? Or are they going with "memory limitations" again?

I (meaning my Shepard) trusted her to be good at her job. Her job entailed taking orders from TIM. I knew if he decided I'd outlived my usefulness she'd stick a gun in my back if he so told her to. So I kept an eye on her.

Really it's kind of amazing we ended up together, if I look at it that way.

Well, I'm fine with the idea, theoretically, that "I love you" might be something Shepard and Miranda might say to one another spontaneously at an extreme moment, but that might go unsaid, but understood, otherwise.

Your suggestion of having it be said through actions, rather than words, is a good one.

Of course... at the moment Im not really seeing evidence of either

Talking on giving up on the romance, Miranda has one of the best line (well its Shepard's line actually) for it.: <Were too much alike>. You can still have a solide relation with her after that.
Compared to telling Thane you <cant love a dying man> and then walking away withouth further explanation<_<

I understand. This is really bad (not specfically Miranda-related though). Ever since the leaked script, things went downhill with every new revelation....
