I sure don't mind, as I don't mind if some other of my favourite characters will die. Though I'd prefer if her death (or the death of other important characters/favourite characters), in that case, is well done, and not in the SM way (most of them were horrible).

1. Even 90% isn't 100% and it hardly says "Miranda dies here." And the more there are, the fewer casualties.
2. Keeping her from the war insults her.

You know that most of the forces get wiped out, right?

If she was on the front lines, it would make the end decision easier. If she lives, so does Thomas. If she dies, so does he.

Last I heard prepared forces had 50% casualties. Which is a bloodbath, but Miranda isn't guaranteed death unless wherever she is is wiped out to a man.

I even found variables of casulaties, and prepared forces have more than 50% casualties.
