Somehow when I read Katie's post about her Shep spanking Miranda, Rihanna's song S&M came to mind.

Also, @Ieldra2, @jtav, I disagree. Atlas by Witness was rather well done. I noticed that in both your fics, Miranda is incredibly one sided, and her inability to emote is very nearly sociopathic. Elyvern did a significantly better job of capturing Miranda, but Miri is insanely hard to get right, so don't beat yourselves up.

Hell, I think I'd screw up big time if I tried my hand at portraying Miranda too.

I agree that Elyvern writes way better than I do, but are you really telling me that the Miranda/Niket interaction in "Promethean Legacy" or her reaction to the relevation of what her father did was not emotional enough? Her remembrance of how she screamed at her father - sociopathic? Well, in that case it's no wonder you find the scene from Atlas well done. IMO it's horribly overemotionalized - more on Shepard's part though - and full of purple prose. Elyvern's matter-of-factly portrayal is not at all comparable.

There's also this: jtav's fanfics tend to portray more of her Cerberus agent side, which is very appropriately colder and more detached than both my Miranda-as-a-teen and Elyvern's Miranda who's been through some character development as evidenced by chapter 2.

Almost sure of it, PR loves to do that.  Gets people thinking about the game.

Anyway if you have a twiiter account I suggest you respond to Casey Hudson with 'Miranda' as the part of the next screenshots you want to see for ME3...

did that already, also asked for legion and mordin and some CONCEPT ART too. hell back before me1 BW released a pack of materials for web-sites and the like, filled with renders and concept art, sadly that seems like a forgotten art these days, i'm dying to see the cover of the CE artbook as a litho, for example.

I would be surprised were that not so. I could even live with her being an antagonist for a time, as long she doesn't do it under duress or indoctrination but has good reasons to be from her knowledge and perspective, and as long as she doesn't stay that way.

BTW, why is it that I never see my own twitter replies except on my own page?

I keep despairing at the realization that no one appears to appreciate the plots and intricacies of character realization in fanfics.

As for erotic Miranda pictures, I know only one who does justice to Miranda's body. In this one she actually looks like I imagine she would given her outfit. The only criticism I'd have is that she probably doesn't look athletic enough given her job - but well, that's true for her in-game appearance as well:
