Without giving too many spoilers. Can anyone tell me if Miranda's sterility problem gets fixed in ME3?
Was there any info in the leaked script?

I'm looking forward to meeting Mr Lawson, it should be an intriguing encounter. Well that is if BioWare doesn't pull a Cerberus. Sure he's rich and a real jerk but that doesn't mean he's evil... Right?
I would like it if we actually got a proper explanation as to why he was making clones of himself but altering the DNA to make all the clones female. What exactly was he trying to accomplish ( is it as bad as I think it might be, was he planning on having sex with his 'daughters' ) . Miranda says he was trying to make a dynasty but it seems like a very strange ( not to mention expensive ) way to go about it. I would like to know what happened to the failed clones ( Miranda says she was not the first one he created, just the first he kept ) and if he continued making clones fater Miranda ran away with Oriana.
As For Henry Lawson in general, I would prefer it if he were a complex and layered villain, a character who's motives we can understand even if we don't sympathise with the things he has done .instead of just this 'mustache twirling' badguy

Mac Walters wrote her on the "critical path", which means most of her dialogue on main plot missions. No idea if he was also responsible for the infamous "betrayal" line.
I think the decision which characters to put into the team was a project-level decision not made by any one person, though Casey Hudson's opinion would've had a major impact. There would've been several factors going into it. Unfortunately, Miranda has several problematic aspects in that regard: she's hard to integrate in an Alliance-centered team from a narrative perspective, she can be dead, she is reasonably popular but more controversial than Tali and Garrus, she would be yet another human on an already human-centred team. Possibly she also didn't have quite the internal lobby Tali and Garrus had. Having said that, I'd really like to know which factor contributed most to Miranda's sidelining in particular.
I'm not bothered about knowing the why. Once the horse has bolted out of the stable door its rather pointless imo.Now i'm just dreading the extent of the butchering her character has received from the sidelining. I even have qualms about romance content to be honest.
No, I would like to know. I would want them to explain what the hell they were thinking when they made the ME3 squad list what it was and why virtually all of ME2's cast got ignored and I don't want to hear any BS about how all of ME2's cast can die in the SM since Garrus and Tali seem to be exempt from that crappy excuse.

And the fact is the ennemy is Cerberus so Miranda was THE right choice for a real squadmember, Tali or Garrus have nothing to do with Cerberus.
Mac Walters really sucks.
BTW I m with all of you, joining the Miri gang ^^

I'll be honest; I'd conjure most of these pages being mostly ****ing about how Miranda is not an ME3 squadmate from around the same 4 or 5 people.Seishoujyo wrote...
It's really hard to believe this topic has already 1500 pages and Miranda isn't even perm squadmember, WTF Bioware ? It's obvious Miranda is one of the most famous character here, not Tali or Garrus...

Hello, I am the Illusive Man and I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?
"No" says the man on Earth "it belongs to the poor"
"No" says the man on Arcturus "it belongs to the Alliance"
"No" say the men on the Citadel "it belongs to everyone"
I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose Cerberus.

And with the sweat of your brow, Cerberus can be your organization too.

Yeah it never struck me as a foolproof scheme either. I hope we get some explanation for it. About the failed clones- you ever see Alien Resurrection? That. They were probably ended the same way too.Raizo wrote...

And is his name really Henry Lawson? That's... rather anticlimactic. Not at all what I was expecting a very powerful ruthless businessman to be called. But maybe he's bringing it back.
I like how you said the underlined and I think this gets missed whenever people start throwing the "moustache-twirling" label around. It's not about redeemable qualities or sympathising with the villian- it's about the villain making some damned sense. Whether tragic or complete monster, we should be able to see what he did there. Even in the case of completely against normal reason or chaotic villains like the Joker, antagonists should have some definable structure and purpose beyond "i hereby oppose the hero for the evulz".

He's more than serious. By mentioning it you've probably just restarted the cycle. Prepare for 10 more pages of wailing and gnashing of teeth. If you survive through it, you'll know what the past 700 pages have mostly been about.Seishoujyo wrote...

Lack of time and ressources to make all ME2 characters have a decent role and content in ME3. So they decided to focus on two characters, and logically they chose the most popular ones in order to avoid the complains of the most vocal fanbases. As a result, the other ME2 characters were expandable and they didn't waste time on them.

Yeah I know sorry, but all this stuff is frustrating. It's hard to believe Bioware made this lame choice to put ME2 characters aside.
It's like ME2 is just useless, a fast (and easy) cash game, from my POV doing a big DLC for the suicide missions was a better idea than a full game.

If I had my way, I would decide to go to the Citadel before Mars.
Kaidan: Why aren't we going to Mars? Liara needs our help.
Shepard: .........But I want to see Miranda. Besides, I have orders to talk to the Council, and I don't have the time to be sidetracked.
Kaidan: But--
Shepard *Renegade Option*: Shut up, Major! That's an order! And if I hear even the smallest mumble of "she is Cerberus" or "we can't trust her," your ass is going in a holding cell.

I'm not defending Talis fans. Personally, I like Miranda and Tali equally - they were both once my avatar...at the same time. And yes - I agree. That if it was Miranda on the squad and not Tali then the roles would be reversed. But they aren't so deal with it. You should worry more about what you do and say then what someone else does.kainee wrote...

The lesson here is that, for some reason, the pot thinks its better than the kettle... or maybe the pot just moved on? Sometimes the emptiness of not knowing is worse than the truth.
