sisters? is that a typo or is it in the script?jtav wrote...
I couldn't forgive him. He abused Miranda and likely did worse to her sisters. Any complexity I've given him is in the interest of creating a good villain.

From what Miranda says, Mr.Lawson doesn't seem the type of man who would bother with providing for a failed creation. I find it much more likely that he just disposes of them.

Precisely the opposite. You see Robert Eldfell really does love his children. He just has a "higher calling" that compels him to subject Miranda/Claire to unnecessary medical procedures in pursuit of perfection. And being locked up is a thousand times worse than dying.
I suppose that depends on what you're subject to while in captivity. Even a caged bird can sing if it thinks it's being treated well.

Also regarding the colony scenario, I don't think just outside Council Space is far enough, at least not going by the impressions I got from this scenario. I think it would truly have to be off the grid. Hmm. Now I'm thinking of Bioshock...
Hello, I am the Illusive Man and I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?
"No" says the man on Earth "it belongs to the poor"
"No" says the man on Arcturus "it belongs to the Alliance"
"No" say the men on the Citadel "it belongs to everyone"
I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose Cerberus.
A group where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be constrained by petty morallity, where the great would not be constrained by the small.
And with the sweat of your brow, Cerberus can be your organization too.
I see what you did there Andrew Ryan, now if you start saying.. "would you kindly" we are going to have issues.
On and interesting note... Mass Effect in a ardeco style... hmmm

Seems wasteful. A man who treats life so casually, I thought he'd most likely euthanize them so he could study where he went wrong during the autopsies. Keeping them alive is a glimmer of humanity, I thought you were trying to eliminate that.
To him they are merely tools and it depends on what he is keeping them alive for cause it being dead could be a more merciful fate.

Is the ME2 crew aware of Miranda and Shepard?
Also do you think Miranda sleeps with Shepard in his cabin?
But I do think if any sleepovers are to be had it's in Shepard's room. It's bigger and better. And before anyone starts on any equal footing nonsense it's also more private which I think is the biggest factor. I don't think either of them are exhibitionists. The engine room was a freak occurence.
And it has a private bathroom!

Can you imagine sitting in the public bathroom, doing your business and then someone opens the door, and everyone who happens to walk past can see you.enayasoul wrote...

I could have sworn they had doors over each toilet, like in BSG. No one ever walked in on the marines there. The only difference is no one was "doing their business" on BSG, they were always f**king!

Or how many of us hit the toliet button to hear it flush and watch the water go down. haha
I wished the shower actually worked. I remember playing one game where you could have your main character jump in the shower or take a crap.
Oh wait, "Heavy Rain" does...

Hey maybe it's like the Futurama future where people don't really sweat modesty. Then again, even in Futurama they didn't watch each other sh!t... I'm gonna have another look at those bathrooms... and maybe get some screens or something put in.Jynthor wrote...

What I find totally incredible is that they didn't see the problems that caused for ME3 coming from far away, given that they'd always planned for a trilogy.
Well, that depends partly on whether they perceive the situation as being problematic overall.
Yes, Walters has talked about the SM being headache-inducing in actual practice, which I'm sure it was, but a lot of the player agency in Mass Effect is built around characters being dead or not dead. So, I'm not sure what they would have changed, but maybe not much beyond limiting the possible deaths a bit, or making them more predictable.
To me personally, certain omissions are more excusable than others where Miranda is concerned. I'll see what the final product looks like before commenting further on that.

Video Logs? I don't remember seeing a Video Log with Miri in it. Seriously. I went through every log and didn't see it.

It's one of the later ones to appear, I believe, but it's there.
