Can we clarify what we mean by romance scene?
Romance scene, to me, means the climax(Pun most definately intended

He's not lying CF. Somebody found a list of characters keyed to a TrueLove variable in the demo.
So we're forgetting that the leaks clearly identify Samantha as a LI? Sounds like that TrueLove variable is not the be all and end all of sources.

Face it! BioWare hates Miri as a Character and THIS is a way of expressing it: Taking it out on us and making us suffer.

Still, a sex scene is not a priority, IMO. Shepard gets to express the wish to spend his life with Miranda so that makes it a true romance for me.

Oh, hadn't heard about that.
But what about Samantha? She's a LI, if you go by what the leaks say. If that variable were totally accurate, she'd apply under it as well. Doesn't make any sense.

As long as the romance is good and Miranda is herself, I don't care about variables. I'd actually prefer no se because I find game sex scenes about as erotic as my grocery list.

But it's true, we hardly get anything out of this.

That argument has enough weight that I'm willing to wait and see. Navigating the leaked material can be a somewhat hazardous business, it's easy to leap to conclusions, it's fragmented, etc.

The game is now literally less than two weeks away from release. Can we seriously not cool our spastic colons for 12 more days?

So we lost a sex scene. We still have a make out scene which, technically, it is still more steamy than Tali's romance scene in ME2.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...

I'm more concerned about Miranda's lines, romantic or otherwise. Shepard's end is sounding great, though.

Really, I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped to one knee and produced a ring after one line. You know the one.

Should Miranda die during the war, my Shepard's life would have two purposes.
Make sure Oriana is safe and happy and continue Miranda's work, advance and protect humanity.I disagree with the bolded. I'd say that Miranda has her own version of a nurturing side. She would not be the one who walks Oriana home everyday after school but we have seen that she is extremely protective of those she cares about with little tought about herself. A good example of that is how she rsiked returning to the same place she had escaped from just a few years back to rescue a sister she owed nothing to or how she kept herself away for Oriana's protection despite wanting to meet her.android654 wrote...
length of time and close relationship with her family influenced her to be the type of person who wants to protect people that are close to her with little thought of her own person. Miranda doesn't have these qualities because her life caused her to grow into someone very different. She's the type of person that would want to continue in the service, but also want a home with Shepard.
Also, whishing for Oriana to have a normal life can be seen as nurturing.
I think Miranda's "selflessness" stems from a need to fulfil responsibility. Responsibility that is self imposed to stop her father doing to others what he did to her. It's more about her than her sister from where I see it. Ash's situation forced her into a direct parent role for her siblings, that's what makes her nuturing, it's been a part of her for such a long time.

Well, I'd also like the story to make a certain amount of sense, narratively, which right now it doesn't, whether you consider it from the point of view of the romance, or the main story arc, or whatever. I have to assume that at least a minimum level of coherence will be attained in the completed game, though. Which could/should tie up the story from all the various angles.

Hmm. I was actually thinking of some scenarios where Miranda dies (post ME3 of course). Shepard's response? Tranquil Fury meets Roaring Rampage of Revenge.
Yeah, my Shepard would probably turn into something akin to a Jedi terminator.
