Not to mention that Liara, VS, Kelly and Cortez mention Shepard's romance, Miranda included.

Who's Cortez? What other Characters do I not know about?

In some ways we're getting off easy. No mistrust or obsessiveness, and the relationship is basically healthy.

Who's Cortez?

He's the shuttle pilot in ME3, and a possible relationship for male Shepard.

I forget his first name.

Steve, aka Miranda's competition by virtue of being sane.

I heard that the VS's Confirmation of Romancing Miri isn't kind.

I'm getting the vibe here that it is pointless to stay Romamced to Miranda in ME3. I hope that's not true

we do not know that.

It is just that when you compare the special treatment the ME1 characters have recieved compared to the ME2 characters (which were in my opinion better for being more interesting in most cases).

But I am hoping that bioware have not just reduced romances with our romance choices just to a couple of messages and 1 conversation.

Guess we will find out in 2 weeks time.

@ the bold- It's a little more than that. I can PM Miranda's dialogue with Shepard to you, if you'd like.

I agree with you about the ME2 characters being more interesting. Even the ME1 squad mates that returned (Tali and Garrus) were far more intersting to talk to in ME2 than ME1.

thanks for the offer but I prefer to find out when I play the game. but does make me feel better that its not the bare minimum.

I am curious on if they have managed to make Liara and Ashley Williams/Kaidan Alenko interesting (they did seem like the Jacobs of ME1)

And we're getting screwed in virtually every other aspect. At the very least, Miranda+Shepard is more believeable and workable than Tali+Shepard, or Garrus+Shepard, or Thane+Shepard.

Welp, there's 1/10 points.

I love Kaidan to itty bitty pieces. I don't love the fighting. Liara seems to have turned into a creepy stalker.

But there is one. Granted, I've started to hate Ashley because of it but I like that it is there. It is part of her character and I'll just have to deal with it.

I wonder what Kaidan's going to say. Probably about the same.

On a slightly more positive note, i was reading Jessica's Q&A responses on reddit and she described Miranda's role as amazing.

I'll admit, I strongly disliked Kaidan in ME1+2 (He bored the hell out of me in ME1), but since I accidentally sped through my Genesis comic and had him survive Virmire, I'll give him a shot in ME3. From what I've read, he's grown a spine.

Maybe I can respect him somewhat now.

Jessica? As in, Jessica Merizan? The Bioware employee?

Of course she'd praise the game her company made.

Yeah not saying we'll find it amazing but it's nice to see someone from Bioware put Miranda & amazing in thesame sentence.

I heard she said that in another context, too. I don't know what she would call amazing, but she's a Miranda fan. It makes me hope we've all been idiots since the November leak.

And like I said, there's something to be said for drama-free romances.

Jessica is a long time fan of Miranda. I'm inclined to believe in what she says because she's awesome and stuff.
Of course, what she considers as an amazing role for Miranda might not match what I would consider.

Good to hear. Is there a link to this Q&A so I can take a look at it please ?
Edit

For some reason, I'm getting more optimistic about ME3 recently, frowning is rather exhausting :P

Can you find the exact quote where she says Miranda is amazing? I'm on there now but haven't found it yet. I also asked about Miranda myself, and Kasumi as well.
