If anything, BioWare tempted those who played ME1 to abandon their ME1 romances for those in ME2.
That's exactly what BioWare of Characters like Miri: "Cheat Bait." They believe that without even stopping to THINK
that there ARE Players who started out with ME2, especially the PS3 Players.
Think, BioWare! T-H-I-N-K.... You were able to think about this entire story with your "Brilliant" minds, yet you can't read between the lines?
They did think. God, stop overeacting. This is all because somebody decided they wanted to romance Ashley instead of Miranda, and you threw your toys out of the cot.
It's not the Ashley thing anymore. Forget about that! I'm talking about BioWare not seeing that there ARE players who prefer the ME2 LIs.
Like the same way Bioware didn't stop and think about Kaidan, Ashley, and Liara when Bioware introduce 12 new squad members in ME2?

We don't mean that literally. Figure of speech. Only reason we say that is because romancing Miranda for "dat ass" is a little immature and silly, no?MegaBadExample wrote...
Oh, my god, you people. "Scum of the Earth." Seriously? You'd go that far?
You do know it's a game, right? And people can make their own choices in that game.

I would argue that its tempting to cheat on, say, Ash for Miranda not because Miranda was made out to be "cheat bait," but because her romance was so well done.
You'd be surprised the amount of people that dumped Ashley or Liara and went for Miranda just because of "dat ass".
I like to call those people "scum of the Earth".
I did cheat on Ashley once though for Miranda. For her character and not her physical features of course;)
@enaya: None of the new ME3 LI's interest me. That may be different for some, but for me, Ashley and Miranda are all I need.

They screwed us over with little time, that's why. They turned the tables on us on purpose because of the treatment of the ME1 Characters in ME2. It's like there way of showing the "Revenge of the ME1 Romancers."
Besides, there are hardly any Miri Fans in BioWare.
Why can't BioWare tell the truth or prove that my assumptions are wrong?

I agree with you. I'm not interested in any of them either. Shepard and Miranda all the way! <3
I do plan to do Ashley and Liara some point in the future but not for the first play through.
Ashley's comments about Miranda have really turned me off even though I wanted to see how she'd react. Shepard will tell her exactly how he feels about her betrayl bull****. I hope they still can be friends. We'll see. <_<

Me me my my mine me me my my mine
This game does allow you to make alot of choices. But it is not YOUR game anymore than it is MY game.
Do you get this sense of entitlement because you get to make a few dialogue choices, romance who you want, and generally choose whether or not to be a jerk to NPCs?
These are just a few different varriations of scripted actions written out by professionals. As in this is what they do for a living. As in this is their hard work.
You can say you don't like the choices they making, but it's not your story. You did not write this. Do not confuse your headcanon with the intentions of the writters. This game is pretty flexible in terms of choices, but this cannot be a "do whatever you want with whoever you want at any time you want" game. It needs direction.

There is a 95% script that was leaked.
Before someone says "But it's incomplete/changed/etc", it's been consistent with everything shown so far, and everything mined from the demo files.
A demo that represents less than a quarter of the full game, and a script that was by many means unfinished and not finalized and was not intended to be released to the public.AgitatedLemon wrote...

Then why do you believe them? You are preaching about choice and being free to do what you want, but you are setting the perfect opposite example now by following and believing those who tell you something and claim it as "100% fact," when it likely is not.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...
Don't blame me, blame those who never kept there mouth shut with the spoilers. They MADE it all sound bad without even looking for a brighter side, and their pessimistic attitudes made my positive beliefs horribly distorted now.

I do take some comfort in the fact that, should the Miranda romance be terrible, reading your posts on the subject will soon drive them completely insane and force them to patch the game.
