Miranda. Yus.

Huh?

He's a fan that just showed up here for the first time. "Yus" is another way of saying yes.

Thank you for the translation, sir. Indeed, I'm new around these parts.

Miranda tells you that she's against torture.

Miranda says that she is against "pointless cruelty".
I think she would exhaust all available options first but, if it came down to it and the stakes were high enough, she would be willing to torture someone.
For example, if you give Veetor to Cerberus he is not tortured "per say". However, Miranda acknowledges that they were not gentle.

I agree 100% on the Veetor example.

She has some renegade in her, no doubt about that.

Whatever. You knew what I meant.

Doesn't mean much on its own. The quarian doctor on the flotilla just notes that he was medicated to be kept in a lucid state so he could answer their questions. I don't think she notes anything, aside from that. That said, I do think Miranda wouldn't be "gentle" with people she needed information from, but she wouldn't immediately go to torture right off the bat.

I'm going to crit this one. Sheploo's body feels too big for his head, his left arm is bending like a noodle and Miranda's body below sheploo's left arm is pointing in a different direction than the rest of her body making it look disproportioned. These things can be easily fixed to make a better image.
Just my opinion, take it as you will.Image IPB

Miranda would not torture someone.. she'd get somone else to do it.

If she can take out Wilson whitout hesitation I think she's more than capable of torturing for vital information plus she's not a patient person.

Wilson: Miranda! But you were-- *Gunshot*

Miranda: Dead?

I've noticed this before, but have never bothered to ask. Is that a blood stain on her boob?

Negative. Its just the lighting, you can see the same shading on her face.

Ah. That was I had honestly figured at first.

And here I thought she had just eaten a hamburger with too much ketchup, and people were too polite (Or afraid) to tell her a drop had spilled onto her boob. That would have been much funnier.

Shooting someone in the head is a quick way to go, It's much different than torturing someone, or so im led to believe. Take Zaeed with you to the Purgatory the part where the guard is beating that prisoner. What he has to say about it sum's it up better than I could. If i remember correctly even the guard say's somthing along the lines of switching out the interrogator regulary, wonder why? that **** changes you. Miranda's a smart woman she can see this... I think... I always go by what I can think of, is common sense to miri. Miranda was ruthless, efficient, took no risk's but she was not Keng Lei crazy. After all she could just make a call to the Tim and tell him to send some crazy sob to do it.

Well, why get some new clothes while you have a comfortable outfit with built in kinetic barriers. You know, the same outfit you wore for a year non stop because it was so damn good.

Edit: Wait, what does Miranda actually wear while she's washing her outfit, or does she simply have a whole closet full of these identical catsuits?

I can imagine that. Except for special occasions, I think Miranda doesn't waste a second thought on "What should I wear this day". A scene like in "Batman Returns" with Miranda walking into a closet full of identical outfits, seems totally in-character.

Those gaurds were beating that prisoner for the sake of doing it, thats different than torturing for vital info.

Seems like you talking more about physical beating which I'm sure she could do but it would be more of an ultimate last resort no other option scenario.
Whatever is necessary to get the job done. How else do you think she became a top agent in Cerberus.

She wouldn't let others do her dirty work if she wasn't convinced they could do it better. And I agree with MisterJB (that becomes a pattern) that she'd exhaust all other options first, but would be willing to torture someone if she considers the information important enough.

EDIT: woops was thinking of the terrible george clooney batman movie, 1:30am going to bed.

I am fairly confident Miranda would torture someone for information, but I can't help but see a clean, surgical, and efficient torture, very simplistic that isn't messy or takes time.
For example, using a silent weapon and gradually pierce non-artery/lethal portions of the body, provided the subject won't reply to the tremendous amount of pain then she'll loose patience after a few minutes, and just unravel the finale, a clean bullet to the head.

Image IPB
And an additional picture, really love the shadows in this one. ( Thanks to Ieldra for the Miranda's alternative hack )

I'll admit, I get really sad at this scene. It makes me feel horrible seeing Miranda cry. Every time I tell her to not talk to Oriana, I feel like I kicked a puppy, and wuss out. Damn it Miranda, you go and talk to your sister.

Every time? You do that often? I did it exactly once......and promptly reloaded. Yeah. I'm a wuss. I'd only be able to do it once I know something desirable comes out of it in ME3. Which I doubt.

@husky husk:
Batman pulled out a Cerberus credit card? I rather doubt that  (don't know the scene either, so no idea what you're referring to)

Just the 2 or 3 times I've tried mustering the courage to have Miranda not talk to Oriana.

As for the credit card thing, it's a scene in one of the movies where Batman pulls a credit card during a sexist auction.
