Holy Giant picture Batman!

At first I didn't know what that silver line was. But it's obvious in ultra-zoomed in mode. That reminds of something else though. Anyone a fan of Flight of the Conchords?

BTW:
Is there anyone here who's not a member of the Miranda spoiler group? I'd like to check if the group attributes are working correctly because I suspect they're not. The group and its contents should be visible to the public, but any activities should not be allowed. So anyone who's not a member: could you go to the group (link in my sig) and tell me if you can see its contents?

I can see it but I can't post.

Hope this doesn't ruin the suit for some of you Image IPB

Something on my mind that I hope is the product of an overactive imagination: Are you still romancing her if tragedy's the only outcome.

Yes. I would feel weak if I didn't. Besides Kasumi's hanging around my Shepard a hell of a lot. I'm sure she'd eventually help him ease the pain:whistle:

husky husk: WTF lol? How'd you find that? Well anyway. There you go. I guess I should also apologize if you genuinely liked the white and didn't see this:P

One time only, I guess. I just see the ending, then after that I would romance Ashley. Life's a one big tragedy anyway, I have no need to have unhappy endings for my movies/games, if it achieves nothing.

I will. But I'll raise hell about it. Five years of Mass Effect and then I get....a totally unexpected downer ending? I can roleplay it, and anyway Cyrus Shepard thinks Miranda is more important for humanity than he is. But I won't be happy about it. Not at all.

Proof that the white outfit can look better than in the game. :/

She looks sort of like Olivia Wilde in that pic.

Holy crap she does! Can't believe I didn't notice that! Further support for Olivia Wilde as Miranda understudy (still need confirmation on whether she can do the accent though).

Oh, my god, you people. "Scum of the Earth." Seriously? You'd go that far?

You do know it's a game, right? And people can make their own choices in that game.

We don't mean that literally. Figure of speech. Only reason we say that is because romancing Miranda for "dat ass" is a little immature and silly, no?

In this case, yes. Because you get to know quite a bit of Miranda to know if she's interesting before the ass shots ever come up. But generally, I'd say that a woman's looks are what first attracts a man, because you usually notice it before you get to know anything else about her. Appreciation of her other qualities usually comes later. So if someone says "I started something with her because she looks great, and only then came to notice how interesting she is", that's totally OK as far as I'm concerned.

Welcome back, redbadger14. Nice to see some of the old regulars coming back.

Thanks Ieldra! It's good to be back, at least as much as I can be. I missed the constructive discussions from the old days

I remember watching this video as soon as it appeared in my sub for Rooster Teeth. Very funny indeed. Joel is great at editing videos. And the character of Caboose always shows when he does stuff.

Sure, though I probably wouldn't be happy about that being the only outcome. There can be some heart-wrenching elements, though, that's potentially good.

I don't mind unhappy endings--I romanced Thane--but I like to know what I've signed on for. Matt was created for Miranda but also with the understanding that there was a future there.

@ Mister JB:

You once said, "I guess going foward with the romance could be considered a selfish move on the part of the player since we know it can't end well." in the Ending Discussion in the other group. What did you mean by that????

Yes, so far, she is the only romance option I really like for MShep, my canon Shep will stay with her no matter what.
As for FShep, I like Thane so I'm already prepared for a tragedy but still, I wish such a thing won't happen with Miranda.

Love how one comes here to talk about Miri and learn stuff about Miri, then you get spoiled about the ending of the game as a whole. :o

No kidding. I just popped in to see what this thread had going on.

Now I am logging out and staying away from BSN until April.

Probably. The only other real option for Thomas (since he's my Canon male) would be Ash, but my Alt MShep is going to romance her, so I'd have to change his LI (maybe both Alts end up with Kelly in that case, while both Canons end up with Ash?). I'd have to scrap my head-canon if I did so. It would be a pain (I've somewhat commited it to writing via Tumblr) but not impossible. I hope it doesn't come to that though.

Sadly, everything constructive has been said a hundred times, and everyone knows where the other stands. Perhaps something new will pop up in ten days. I can already see some opinions about Miranda coming I would argue against. I can only hope the phrasing of a certain dialogue has changed since the leak, or I'll have a very hard time with it.

I also wonder if Miranda will win any new fans with ME3, with her not being available for a new romance and her limited screen presence.

I wouldn't really mind a tragic ending as long as its well written. Granted Liara's "fighting for the future of humanity" line from the end of LoTSB is what's keeping me optimistic considering that her lines about the other ME2 LI's come to pass.

Very true.

Hopefully this thread will be alive with new types of constructive discussion once everyone has played through ME3 a few times. I look forward to it at least :)
