I hope the vagueness means "no". Miranda already has all the "sides" she needs. I'd rather they further explore those that remained sadly underexplored in ME2. In a way they all did.Vertigo_1 wrote...

He wasn't very specific with the answer, as if he, dodged the question. <_<

This is what I'm hoping too. He won't respond, even hinting at what she will be like in ME3 since he said a few days ago he isn't allowed to.

@Ieldra2: Do you plan on updating "Promethean Legacy" and "Masks and Mirrors"... I loved them and would like to see how they end.
Yes, I do plan that. Atm though, I have the problem that I've been involved in Elyvern's "Degrees of Inheritance", and certain parts of her world and themes and mine are similar enough than I can't plan my own story without cross-contamination until Degrees is done. I'm already stumped about how to continue my "Promethean Legacy" plotline without making it appear as if I'd copied from Elyvern.

But seriously, yes I do feel bad. I've sucked Ieldra so deeply into my story that in many places, he's literally my co-plotter. Calling him my betareader is a great dissservice. You can pile the blame on me for him not finishing his stories, that's the truth.

Anyway, Miranda....
This apparently confirms that it's a deliberate policy to say nothing about her. I fear she'll get the Garrus treatment and we'll have nothing new to talk about until next year. Extremely frustrating. This is what I'm hoping too. He won't respond, even hinting at what she will be like in ME3 since he said a few days ago he isn't allowed to.

If given the option in ME3, would anyone approach the issue of Miranda's longevity? Or do you think this is a concern that should be either voiced by Miranda herself or simply ignored?
Perhaps the approach the issue. Or have her talk about it herself. One of those for me.

Well yeah, just like they said nothing about the other ME2 exclusive characters. They aren't ready to show them off yet. The latest tweet from Mac Walters says they are still working on concepts for Vega...
So for now they can't say anything. So we wait. And remind them ever so often (not spam)

Let's not hit the panic button just yet.
I'm sure they will show off Miranda at some point. They showed off Legion and Mordin so far. Since the game is 40% Cerberus I'm thinking at one point we will see either a demo or screenshots of Miranda. Besides they seem to be periodically (monthly it seems) asking people what you want to see next (screenshots). Example of this is the post on Facebook last month and this month where Casey asked the same thing via Twitter (although I'm betting he mentioned Ash/Kaidan to put out the fire that erupted from those AA shots)
We could always create a complain thread on the main forums like the AA thread to get attention
(I'm only kidding...

I must be missing something here but, what issue?
The fact that she will live longer than the average human?

It seems a issue worthy of being mentioned, it could even lead to some banter between Liara and Miranda.

Miranda will live for over 200 years. Even if Shepard's ressurection didn't severely diminish his life expectancy, it's rare for a human to reach 150 years of age. And let's not forget, Shepard will just keep getting older while Miranda remains relatively young.

Would Miri leave when we become old?

What? over 200 years? I never heard her saying it specifically
I've heard the 150 year mark but that was some math done in thread in the other Miranda support thread...

The age thing really hurts Liara's romance for me. That and the alien part -- maybe I'm shallow IDK. I never really thought about it for Miranda, but yeah she is going to be spry longer than Shepard, but not as extreme as Liara. So it isn't as big an issue since she is already 10-15 years older right?

half again as : one-and-a-half times as <half again as many>
from http://www.merriam-w...y/half again as
So you would be right, assuming 150 is the average life span of a human in that universe (which I think it is?)

That is one of the things that is a bonus about Miranda, she is a woman in her mid-30's and not a young girl. Wasn't into girls in their teens/twenties even when I was in my teens/twenties.
The 30's & 40's were always the prime of a woman to me.
I do think that Shepard and Miranda would need to have that discussion at some point, although I really don't think Shepard will leave past 70. He/she has been through too much and I think that his/her body will start to break down at some point. But that is just my opinion and only references my Shepards.
Should it be in the game? To be honest, I don't really think that in comparison to the asari/krogan age span the potential 75-100 years would not really matter ... also, there are some on the board that believe that Shepard may live longer than average because of the Lazarus Project. So Bioware would need to first reveal his/her life span.
Who knows, Shepard may have a 500 year life span as a couple people have voiced.

I think Shepard will live longer than the normal human, he may be on par with Miranda now in terms of aging and healing. Dunno how literal TIM meant when he said "bring him back exactly as Shepard was". But I'm thinking the technology in Shepard is going to boost his life expectancy at the very least, and they may have given him some "enhanced genetics" like Miranda.
