I don't know what you think but if miri dies I like that shepard also dies

Ehh, from a storytelling standpoint, it depends on Shepard's personality, and how Miranda's death afflicted him.

If they actually implement that Kai Leng cereal thing into ME3 will that be funny or just really stupid? How would you react?

Depends on how they wrote it in.

If it's retarded.... Well...

It won't be the cheesiest tip-of-the-hat easter egg they put into ME.

If Miri says she want kids before your ready what will you tell her?

Well. First of all, like some of you probably already know I sort of want Shepard to die a heroic death in ME3.
So I think it'd be nice if shepard impregnated Miranda before he died.(Thor, that sounds so wrong.)
So Shepard would probably say yes.

I refuse to believe Miranda's infertility is permanent (Indeed, even a real problem). It comes off as a convenient "excuse" to dump Miranda for a different LI.

Knowing the level of technological advancement in the ME-verse, benign neoplasmic tumors (What Miranda has) should be about as easy as the common cold to get rid of.

First and foremost, they cured DEATH. Miranda herself overcame DEATH and resurrected Shepard. After 2 years.

Mordin and co. were able to artificially adjust the natural birthrate of an entire species.

I've read it before and it was pretty dark. I liked though, it's not something easy to write unles you've had experience with something like that before.

And the fact that he took her life himself definitely plays a big part in the whole emotional side if things as well.
(Hopefully I'm talking about the same fic you are :P)

3 main reasons that I can think of off the top of my head.

1. They want you to romance someone else. As shallow a thought it may be, some people are willing to dump someone because they can't carry children. I like to call those people "Scum of the Earth".

2. They want you to feel sorry for her. While sympathy for someone like Miranda is ok (Especially since she's infertile, I'd feel sorry for someone in real life if they had this problem), in the dossier, it feels forced and contrived. It's just... there. Out of the dossier, it's never once mentioned or referenced or pointed out. It may as well not exist.

3. They're trying to push the whole "Genetic tampering is bad!" thing. I'm not going to really touch this one, since my views are different than everyone else's, and I don't want to start an argument.

I explained in my last post why the entire thing is retarded.

Agreed.

That entire dossier (The doctor's letter and dating line, in particular) was just insulting. Insulting to Miranda, and insulting to my intelligence, having read it.

Do you think BW would purposely sabotage the Miri romance in hopes of making choose another romance?
I have my own reasons for choosing Ashley but if course you know that

I already pointed that out in reason #1, up above.

IF that was their intention, then it's a real dick move. The people who actually DO dump her because of that aren't any better.

It changes nothing, regardless of what game it's in.

It's a scummy thing to do to someone.

I still don't really get the dating files. I refuse to believe she's doing all that just to have sex. I mean... really? No way BioWare would do that to her.

I wasn't talking about that I was trying to say do you think they would make the romance bad in ME3 on purpose?

No, because even Bioware knows Miranda has a fanbase.

That said, the romance in ME3 isn't that bad, actually. Just a tad on the short side, because of Miranda's reduced presence in ME3. If she were a squad mate (Or at least had a larger role), it would be MUCH better.

That's how I (And everyone else, by the looks of things) take it. It (With the doctor's note) sums the dossier like this-

"You like Miranda? She's infertile! Go romance Liara or Tali!"
"You like Miranda? She sleeps around with a lot of guys! Go romance someone who isn't a sl*t!

I think she was trying to get pregnant. It's probrably not a coincidence that her one night stand comes before her medical file.

You know, I actually take back what I said, I knew all along that BioWare were such scumbags.
Oh well, thinking of how things used to be makes the pain go away.

I doubt it.

Given the circumstances, I don't blame them. There's the whole "interplanetary apocalypse" thing going on.
