Where does Shepard hide his Fornax? Does Miri know about it?

He hasn't been hiding it well enough apparently, considering how busy Garrus has been 'calibrating.'

Yeah this could've been done better. But I still think my emotional explanation was worth it. Besides I still had Kasumi at the ready with me. Worst comes to worst she flashbangs the room. That should give us enough time to recover.

I always bring Jack for the lulz. I can't help it but seeing her shoot at the mercs durring dialogue always gets me.

There's better options:

Tali & exloding core.
Tali & rocket to the face.
Tali & friendly seeker swarm.
Tali & bullet to the gut.
Tali & steel beam.

And the best from all: Shepard & Miranda.

Peanut Butter and Jelly.

I'm alright with Kaidan playing the "Carth Onasi can't trust you" game because Raphael Sbarge voiced Carth in KOTOR, so going through the motions again shouldn't be that bad.

As for Ash, I'm not quite sure how to feel. I like her character in ME1, especially her line about how we can work alongside the other races of the galaxy, but we can't assume that they'll always have our best interests in mind. Going into ME2 Miranda's lines about envying the time Mordin spent with the STG and how Illium is an example of how humanity could learn a lot from the Asari along with her support of Cerberus' ideals reminded me a lot of Ash from ME1.

The whole "you're a traitor" line and the fact that the VS is going to be playing the "you worked with Cerberus, I can't trust you" card for a good portion of ME3 I'm not all that interested in attempting to rekindle her romance while Miranda and Jack's romances both come off as being healthy and loving.

Awkward time to be saying this, but as a Tali/Liaramancer, I'm still mad (though not as much as you guys I'm sure). At first I romanced Ash, then Tali, then I sold my Xbox and got a PS3 which there I romanced Tali (this was all over a couple years of course) and then I was literally about to sit down and play a playthrough with Miranda, but I read some spoilers about ME3 and I was in awe. I can't believe they would sideline everyone on ME2 like that. I really like Miranda as a character and now I feel like not having her as a permanent in ME3 puts a damper on her romance. I'm the type of player that likes to play with the LI out on the field with me. I will probably wait to do a playthrough with her and see what happens. I really really hope every LI has some type of Epilogue with Shepard. Right now I'm doing a Liara playthrough which to me seems like it would be best. Just because of the interaction you can have with her through all 3 games. I've always been a bit intimidated to post in this forum... I never really understood the hate towards Tali, when Garrus is on the same level, and Liara's makes even less sense. Is it only, because the devs said her by name? Well whatever... I feel really bad for the people who only have PS3s and all they know are the ME2 characters.

TL;DR: I'm a Tali/Liaramancer and I hate to see Miranda not get her time in the spotlight. I don't know why people don't like Tali, but I'm not going to let that affect me liking Miranda.

There needs to be a picture...

As for the question about Niket, I let Miranda kill Niket because...
(1) It is her decision to make.
(2) Even were Shepard inclined to interfere, he would never do it by grabbing her arm or otherwise physically restraining her.
(3) It's stupid in the situation with Enyala pointing a gun at them.

Most of the hate expressed here by certain people is the result of Tali getting a slot on Shepard's team because of her supposed popularity, and the behaviour of certain of her fans. Personally, I think she's OK as a character even though I dislike her romance.

As for Miranda, I can wrap my mind around not having her on the team, though it's mildly disappointing, as long as she has a good screen presence and an impressive story, and as long as her drive to achieve the impossible and to work for humanity's advancement is still part of her character.

@Swaggacide:
Is there something wrong with Miranda's eyes in that picture? I think they're very beautiful.

I don't think Miranda "betrayed" Shepard at all. What's in the past is in the past. Everything I posted earlier were things that it could be taken as. Honestly, I could care a little less if Miranda isn't the archetypical "innocent virgin" love interest. I do, however, think that they failed monumentally at portraying her sexuality though. Dating sites aren't exactly the most dignified way to express it.

Well,  "if it's all civilized, you're doing it wrong"  (I won't mention who says that.....spoiler)

But I agree the dating isn't a big thing. What I dislike is the implication she did it to get pregnant. Anyway, I hope the whole dossier will be proven of doubtful veracity, though I rather think it won't be mentioned again at all.

Same here.
The dating thing isn't important at all, the past is the past and I don't see it being mentioned in the actual game.
It shows that she is sexually active as opposed to being a shy virgin and enjoys having sex which is actually good news for Shepard :P It is somewhat in-character because she may have needs but she is very cautious about it and doesn't want strings attached, a possible emotional entanglement she may get into by having sex with a lover she is close to, that she knows (ex: Shepard) and because of the line of work she is in.

However I would like the dossier to be proven BS in ME3.

Could you PM about who says "if it's all civilized, you're doing it wrong" please ?

@Swaggacide : Her eyes have a slightly different color because of the lightning I think.

I liked Ash in ME1 - there was a pragmatic streak that I appreciated, however, when Horizon happened in 2, it was like a sucker punch to the gut. The one person who should know well how the Alliance twists things and knows how Shepard works immediately jumps to conclusion that you're a traitor, in utter contrast to Anderson. She broke faith, which, if she continues to play the "You worked for Cerberus!" and "traitor!" cards in 3, guarantees that there is no way in hell (my) Shepard would ever trust her, much less romance her.

Surprised at the amount of people allowing her to kill Niket.
Just because it's her decision doesn't necessarily mean it's the right one, everyone makes mistakes, even the perfect Miss Lawson. The animation is simply there because they couldn't be bothered to make a better one and shouldn't be taken seriously in the first place.

Niket was Miri's only friend, and he didn't know the whole story, after you stop Miri from shooting him it's obvious he thinks he did the wrong thing and wants to help Miri instead.

Then Enyala shoots him and he dies anyway, so it doesn't really matter in the end.

Niket was likely dead if she doesn't shoot him anyways. I doubt Mr. Lawson would let him go without torturing/killing him for information. I don't really feel any sympathy for him. The guy wasn't honorable at all. He was motivated by money, and the only time he felt 'wrong' was when he faced Miranda with a gun pointed at him. However I don't think he deserves to die for what he did.

I let Miranda shoot him. I rationalize it by taking note of the trigger happy Asari Commando and her unit facing us down. Niket really isn't worth exposing myself or Miranda to being shot.

Well for one thing, unlike Sidonis or Maelon, Niket is neither remorseful nor trying to do a twisted version of the right thing. He's aiding and abetting the kidnapping of an adult so she can be returned to an abusive father. And he's doing it out of greed and anger at Miranda. I'd shoot the rat myself, and I certainly won't stop her.

Not Ieldra, but because it's a really stupid way to go about it. Have sex with someone once and hope you end up pregnant? Couples can try for a baby for months without becoming pregnant. Having sex only when she's found a suitable partner has worse odds than a slot machine. IVF is much saner, and the usual method of becoming pregnant in ME.

And it's a crappy thing to do to the guys. Something tells me she didn't tell them what she wanted. Actually that's my big problem with the dossier. She's treating these men pretty poorly. Nowhere else does she act quite so much like her father, treating people as objects to further her "dynasty." It would be different if she weren't so obnoxious about it.

I get the feeling that the medical scans she requested are more revealing than today's would be and with some genetic modification being ubiqutous, chances of onetime impregnation may be higher than today's. But even if all that's nonsense, who says it's a one time thing. If she ended up hooking up with the last guy but it didn't happen, what's to say she won't call him again? Yeah she's not being very romantic, but for all the guy knows it could just be booty calls, and honestly not many are gonna turn her down.

I maintain that getting a baby this way may be preferable for her if she's worried about being tracked by her father. I think Lawson would double his efforts to catch her if he knew she was pregnant, if for nothing else but taking her baby for his legacy plans. As it stands, it's unclear what she's doing. Smoke and mirrors may not completely conceal but it's better than stark exposure.

As to the last point, she is her father's daughter. I don't see why that should concern anybody. So what, we're fine with her shooting guys and torturing them "if the situation calls for it" but she treats one guy online like meat and suddenly she's undesirable? This is who she was. I will admit I didn't get the best vibes from the logs myself and I had to consciously remind myself she's changed since then. But that was an first, emotional reaction. I now understand and even appreciate that as a snapshot of her previous character.

Because the torture and murder aren't for selfish reasons. This is. No "greater good." She just wants a kid.
