Ah, curious that you would speak about this.
The freedom to characterize Shepard as we wish has always been one of my major sources of joy and fun from ME.
However, the outrageous amount of auto-dialogue coupled with this flashback "bug" makes me wonder if my Shepard or your Shepard still exist or have they been replaced by Bioware's canonical Shepard.

Yeah fact they quite happily went with some silly canon flashback shep scene does make me worry over if i'll get to experience large parts of the game with my shep or their canon autoshep. This afternoon i was  a whisker away from cancelling pre-order because of craptacular nature of endings. Decided i'll pay my money and vent huge amounts of rage if they truly have mucked up the final part of the trilogy.

The other points I can understand, but why this a -5/10?

Miranda is still one of the very few romances in the game that feels like she's actually in love with Shepard towards the end.

Basically, the relationship has no future and there's an omission that implies only the ME1 romances matter to Shep.

And Miranda still gets one of the better deals.

SPOILERS ABOUT OTHER LIs ROMANCES BELOW:
the problem is quantity and probably no romance scene... quality seems the same for all romances.. I dont like to talk about other LIs, but sometimes peoople forget the other fans also have problems, I mean, the endings are equally bad and it's not like the other LIs are going to have more than 1 romance scene like it was being discussed.. Xoisite(space edition guy) said there was only one romance scene with Liara for example and confirmed no happy ending for the romance.. yes, the Bioware's pet Liara will also have a bad ending and no special treatment here.. About Tali, look at her situation: poor romance in ME2, will only be recruited in the middle of ME3, unhappy ending for the romance AND after some official drawings of bald quarians without masks have appeared, her appearance has again become a worry for some..

You could extend the "no future" thing to all of the romances, depending on the ending you pick to play.

What is being omitted that implies only the ME1 romances matter to Shepard? The dialogue I've read implies that Miranda matters a great deal to Shepard.

Unless you're referencing something in the gameplay.

Both of the Dextro's get... Screwed over (To put it lightly) in ME3.

Depending on the choices you make in certain missions.

Then again... So does everyone.

It would suck if they were the only "happy ending" characters while everyone else got shafted in one way or another.

I'll be highly upset if my boy Garrus dies when the **** hits the fan, I'm pretty fond of him and Ill do anything possible for him, Miranda , and Kaiden to live , tali i never really cared much for, she's alright , but anyway , it's a war story , people are gonna die , it makes the story richer if you ask me, but I also havnt read any spoiler so I'm not exactly sure what your talking about by "screwed " , guess I'll see march 6 !

Could someone PM these bad endings for Liara and Tali? I don't really care for the other LI's and am rather cruious.

I hope she will leave her side. It's bad enought that Oriana appears to be Miranda's driving motivation during most of the ME3. If she wouldn't be present in the endgame once again because of her sister, I'd start wishing I could drop a Reaper on Oriana.

Hard to say. If it was simply a matter of who is more precious to Miranda, the answers is, obviously, Oriana.
However, Shepard is far more needed in the war than Oriana so, she might save Shepard

I hope Miranda never has to make that decision... but Shepard would probably be the one to tell Miranda to save Oriana. 

MisterJB does have a point...  If it was while the reapers were still invading... damn that's gonna hurt.  Miranda needs Shepard to finish this war.

She might save Shepard necause he is more important. I bet she'll feel uilty and will never want to see Shep again because each time she'll see him she will remember Shep is alive because Oriana has to be sacrified.
