Liara gets Miranda's room?! Wow... That is loooow

The most boring charcter taking over one of the most interesting charcters spots... the irony is too much to handle

How is Miranda any more interesting than Liara?

Oh look at me I was created to be perfect.  My biggest concern is if I break a nail.  Woe is me!

I would rather spew cats ****** out of my mouth than listen to Liara's monotone voice garggle on about some boring nothingness for 5 minutes.

What does Mirana have over Liara you ask? she has something which is a lot better than having nothing. Liara is as empty and void as her singularity

Protheans are "boring nothingness"?

Why are you even playing these games?

Cus i've played them since day one launch of ME1 :L

Liara contributed very little on the protheans in ME1 minus the cypher really, in ME2 she didn't even mention their name, in ME3 we get a Prothean on the ship! Liara is 100% redundant.

What are you talking about. most of the information we get about the Protheans is from Liara.

And I won't have a Prothean on the ship.

Noooooot really though. We gett most info on them for Feros + Ilos. Liara just offers a few emotionless, monotone setances on them every now and then.

Every time I heard her though I just thought it was my old mobile phone, that I bought in 1998, going off :/

Ah right, didn't realise. if you like the Protheans so much perhaps you should look into getting the DLC :D

Why did you come to the Miranda thread to badmouth her character?

This is a discussion forum not a fansite.

It is a fanthread though.

For some very odd reason I'm still feeling very chill about this whole situation.

Okay, who else is going to make a point to go down to engineering and stare pensively at the core every so often.

If the story plays out the way that I think it's going to, I'll be down there staring at the core and cursing several specific writers...

Liara has combat experience, is a very powerful biotic and  has the resources and influence of the Shadow Broker at her disposal. I'm a "Mirimancer" (I usually romance Liara in ME1 but hook up and stay with Miri through ME2) but let's not pretend Liara has no reason to be on Shepard's crew.

Though I'll concede the reasoning was a bit of a stretch in ME1.

Miranda is an operative, Liara is the SB. Liara shouldn't be fighting in the field ig she is the SB. You don't see the director of the CIA fighting himself.

Experience. Miranda has 20 years of experience as an operative. Liara only has 3 years of experience in being a broker.

Liara shouldn't be in the squad. I imagine her on the Normandy, but nos as a squadmate (if she dies all the SB net dies).

My Shepard will go with a pillow and a blanket and will sleep there always. It's the only place in the Normandy where he can find peace with good memories.

I've revert back to Liara as a romance. As soon as I dumped Miranda my Liara picture went right back up.

I will tell you, dumping Miranda was the hardest thing I've ever done in all of the Mass Effect Trilogy. It was such a painful thing to watch. Dat frowny face. :( I know I will look bad for dumping Miranda but, my Shepard needs a romance for the finale. Atleast now, my Shepard looks like he has always been with Liara now.

If I hear that Miranda actually has a successful appearance in ME3, then I will make a new game in ME2 and check it out for myself.

I hope Liara dies a painful, monotonous death. One that's almost as bad as listening to her drone on . . .

I wonder Mac Walters is telling the truth in his blog post about the LI.

Yeah, just sitting in that office looking out the window for an hour and Liara is like WTF?

hmmm that picture came out pretty good. Usually one of her eye lashes disapears and there appears to be no lighting issue. I demand a bigger size with high rez textures NOW! please?

Hmm....I haven't made a screenshot of that scene in more than a year, except one on armor with visor which doesn't look so good. Which means I don't have a high-res version. What I can give you is a bigger size:

Kind of ironic to see this add from Peta, given their past.

Hi people, first time posting here, so excuse my unfamiliarity with the forum.

I have one general question, although the answer is smewhere in here, but going through 1600+ pages of posts is a lil annoying.

To what extent is Miranda's role in ME3?  I've read that she's not a squad member and this was months ago.  Any new news will be appreciated, and thanks to your replies in advance.

If I may point you to the Miranda in ME3 spoiler discussion group. The stickied topics give a good overview. The extent of her role is not known very well since the script leaked in Novemer is incomplete specifically in Miranda's parts. People who have the game say her role is good, though.

Currently the discussion about Miranda's role in ME3 is overshadowed by major concerns about the game endings. See the ME3 spoiler group for details. Be warned. It's not a pretty picture.
