Keep it up and you will find out one of the real reasons why the fans, like MegWithAMouth and others, left.

What if Miri just wants a Normal Life with us (Shep)?
For crying out loud stop and think. You are all saying what she should do, when you are not the devs.
Think about what Miri would want.
No more political conflicts, war, organizations, JUST a NORMAL LIFE.

Hmm. Just shows how different the picture you get is if you incorporate the books. Nothing new, but reading the whole collection of info together is interesting. I'm still hoping that there is more the "Cerberus is working with the Reapers" plot than "TIM is indoctrinated". I prefer an antagonist who actually has a point and agency of his own.TomY90 wrote...

One thing though: Cerberus was not responsible for first eezo accident in 2151. So saying "Cerberus is responsible for the existence of human biotics" is wrong. Also they can't be responsible for Shepard, since the connection between eezo and biotics was discovered in 2157 and Shepard is born 2154. Which of course begs the question how the hell Colonist and Spacer Shepards have got their biotics.
Didn't see Miranda and Jacob mentioned though.

What made Ashley's romance for me was the locker scene. The concern, saying I love you without saying it. I never felt any romantic connection to Miranda. The romance is six minutes long. It's hard to be invested in that.
On a more positive note, I've been playing ME2 on a new machine, and Miranda looks absolutely, stunningly gorgeous. I did a double take.
Yeah I'm guilty of thinking like this as well. I sorta romance Miranda based off the potential of her character more than what we see. All of my memorable Miranda moments except one aren't romance exclusive. While when I think/read about other characters, the most popular "favorite/memorable" moments are found in the romance. I do alot of personal filling in the blanks to make the romance work. Miranda is a prime example of the character being better than the romance. However in Liara's case the romance is better than the character.
(the last two sentences are soloy opinion -- just making that clear. I don't want to start a war)

Nice to see everyone's still got a positive spirit about Miranda's return. And, dunno if anyone's noticed...but it has been announced that Yvonne Strathovski is voicing Miranda in ME3 officially. I work on a ship, so internet is a bit intermittent as well as expensive. Just thought I'd mention it to uplift everyone.
And no, imdb is not an official source.

This link has been posted here about three dozen times throughout the last three weeks or so, but that doesn't change anything. As long as we have no announcement from Bioware, EA or Yvonne Strahovski, everything else is nothing but rumor.

This. Please stop grasping at straws, before you quoting a source as a ''fact'' do some research about the source. Pretty much anyone can add info onto IMDB. Sure the Miranda is nothing to me without the Yvonne, but that doesn't mean she'd be necessary returning as her VA. Companies have done dumber things in the past.

True. A why should they change it? I hope they'll not do something like this. That would be a really stupid move, because we all know Miri as Yvonne.O Tucker wrote...
Oh god god were back to this... I think Bioware is not that stupid to not bring back Yvonne as Yvonne and Miranda have a huge fan base and they would benifit a lot from having her back.. Also if they bothered to scan her face to be Miranda i would of thought that Bioware would of made her sign a contract for being in the rest of shepards story of Mass Effect..if not then bioware are idiots and no one should buy there games again as Bioware games are all about story and character development....And if one of the voice actors has changed from one of your favourite character they that bond is pretty much broken and pointless....Its like changes shepards voice actor in ME3? we know that would never happen but if it did then our shepard is gone..same with Miranda

Isn't it as ridiculous claiming that she would want a 'normal life' as to the divergence of opinion on which organisation she'd be wanting to choose?
I mean, there can be no 'normal life' in the immediate future anyway because a giant race of sentient warships are about to land and start liquidating people (har har, I like my puns sometimes) left right and centre, and on top of all that, what the hell is 'normal' anyway? And to top that off yet again, what the hell is 'normal' to a genetically engineered super-woman?

the guy who played mordin i bet will be back as he likes doing the role but i bet somthing is going on at bioware which means they have to wait..But Miranda is a LI .. shes more important to have the same voice actor..Also i thought mark meer did a good job with mordin..there was only a slight difference where as no one could do Yvonnes voiceMelrache wrote...

Because if Miranda wanted a "normal" life to the exclusion of her work, it would disgust me more than I can say. I like her ambition and desire to make a difference. I get enough of "high-powered woman gives up career after meeting hero" in romance novels. She'd become a character type I despise.

Even if she'd have family, in some way with Shepard ( hopefully not by adoption) she most likely still keeps doing her work.

I think she would want to play a big role in rebuilding humanity and enhancing it's galactic presence after the Reapers have come and gone, so my interpretation of Miranda doesn't have the vanilla family life on the near horizon.
