FYI:
(1) I've unsticked the leaked script summaries in the Miranda spoiler group because they're soon to be eclipsed by the actual game.
(2) Starting next Monday, membership in the group will not require approval anymore.
(3) I'll change the group's name into "Miranda Lawson character and story discussion group"

hahaha. I had that happen once in my game. She never got to jump on her bed when she was a child. Shepard just happened to catch her in the act. LOL!

Looking at the Captain's Cabin makes me sad ever since I saw what the Alliance did to it.

The Captain's Cabin is ok. It's Miranda's office that makes me sad.

It feels like a construction site to me. :?
Although to be fair, the entire Normandy does.

Hello guys.
I only created Male Shep, just because of Miranda, or more properly because of Yvonne Strahovski. :)
Now I planning to do a walkthrough in the weekend, and one big question. in ME3 Miranda is avilable for the Femshep , I mean can i romance with her. Big question because as I said, she is the only reason why I created a Maleshep, XD.

No. She won't be available for new players at all.

She's barely available to the people who romanced her in the first place

She is not available as a romantic interest for femShep, nor is she available for maleSheps who have not romanced her in ME2. I recommend playing ME2 with her.

I feel sad for all fans whose Shepards don't have the remotest possibility of a happy future with their LIs. I'm glad we've been spared that fate, and I think that is long overdue after all the sidelining (which btw is still an issue), but I won't gloat.

Yeah, I feel absolutely no joy over this. Especially for the VS fans. They waited a game...for this. They and Team Dextro have to choose between experiencing the romance and a future. Liara fans are screwed no matter what. And, make no mistake, we're only spared due to an oversight. So no celebration from me. I might even return to Liara/Miranda just to provide hope.

You know, Miranda and Jack romances still don't have a future secured.

* Just imagine a fragment of the citadel falling rigth into them, killing them instantly. End of the romance forever.*

I just said that in the spoiler group. I'm not yet sure that Miranda will actually be there in the end. The person who played the game didn't romance Miranda and wouldn't know the last conversation with her. They may have contrived a reason for her to leave, too, and if they didn't it was only because they didn't want to spend more resources on it. Not that it would matter much at this point, with the heavy rewriting necessary to wrest any kind of satisfaction from the end, imagining around this would be a minor change.

I'm no longer viewing what we'll see as "Miranda." These aren't characters, they're plot contrivances that BW manipulates. I'd just go back to the original version of the idea that I PM'd you. I won't hold anything Miranda does or says against her because it's clear BW has their own version of an indoctrination field working.

I still retain some suspension of disbelief for everything not connected to the ending, but you're right. I read that bit about Garrus in the spoiler group. Now everyone knows I don't like him, but that...I was speechless. Never seen such a giant FU from writers to fans of a character.

What do you read about Garrus? Could you PM me?

I'm starting to get the feeling that we might end up with the Mass Effect version of the Broken Steel DLC for Fallout 3

If that gives me a way out of the "everything I cared for in this fictional universe is f*cked" scenario, I'll buy it. But since I very much mind being milked liked that, I won't buy the next Bioware game.

Never saw Broken Steel though. I walked away from FO3 after seeing the end of the main plot for the first time. What happens there?

Edit:
Now I've used enough f-bombs in my posts over the last three days to make Jack proud. Yet another unprecedented occurrence triggered by current revelations (not Miranda-related, just in case anyone is still wondering).

First, it gives you the opportunity to send Rad Resistent companions to activate the machine.
But, even if the Lone Wanderer is the one who does it, there was an energy spike that knocked him and Sarah Lyons down. They were rescued by the Brotherhood and the LW wakes up weeks later to resume the figth against the Enclave.
You can see the effects some of your choices had on the Capital Wasteland. There are caravans taking Aqua Pura (the water purified by Dad's machine) but, if you chose to contaminate it, ghouls and even normal people will be dying from it. If the LW drinks it twice, he dies. A result of being born on the Capital Wasteland, rather than on Vault 101.
There are also some side quests involving the Aqua Pura.

Thanks, MisterJB. I would consider a ME3 version a fix rather than an addition. Though it would have to make one much more fundamental change to be satisfying. Not saying any more here.

In 5 days time we're finally gonna find out how large Miranda's role in this game is and whether or not it's a satisfactory conclusion to her charcter arc.

Weird thought huh?
