It was so annoying in ME2 having to play a certain way just to keep your team loyal

Ashley's and Liara's fans got it worse than we in the end. Look into the (general) spoiler group. Bioware literally went out of their way to deny them the possibility of a personal happy ending. Liara's especially. I've never been so glad to have a favorite character not featuring in the final scene of a story.jameshowlett89 wrote...
Bioware can go **** themselves with their new rules, if their not letting us choose the characters we want in OUR story and instead force feeding us Liara and Ashley then this is my last Bioware game anyways, so they can ban me or whatever.
I work at Toys R us and we got our copies of ME3 a couple days ago but I finally had a chance to take a look at the game and the official guide of ME3. I went straight to two sections, what the squades look like and whats gonna happen to Miranda. I think everyone knows who the squadmembers are by now but I can tell you guys that their appearance's look okay for the most part, they each get two outfits plus their casual wear.
however the section concerning Miranda I was not happy with at all, the asswipes who wrote the piece of crap guide even tell you that if you romanced Miranda in ME2 you can continue that romance in ME3 BUT due to long distance relationship mombo jumbo, your romance with Miranda may not be as satisfying as other romances <_<

So Miranda romance gets screwed as a mail/messages long distance relationship. That almost confirms my theory about her not having a culmination. So, If you didn't sleep with her in ME2, then you missed your chance.

She is not available as a romantic interest for femShep, nor is she available for maleSheps who have not romanced her in ME2. I recommend playing ME2 with her.ChipLecsap wrote...
I only created Male Shep, just because of Miranda, or more properly because of Yvonne Strahovski.
Now I planning to do a walkthrough in the weekend, and one big question. in ME3 Miranda is avilable for the Femshep , I mean can i romance with her. Big question because as I said, she is the only reason why I created a Maleshep, XD.
Woah woah woah woah... woah.
So if I romanced her in ME2, but then got back with Liara in LotSB, and called it off with Miri afterwards... what would happen?
From what I've read, I'm under the impression that you need to have romanced Miri to get her mission in ME3?

Its almost like bioware made the first two games so awesome that it was impossible to live up to thier 'open ended, choose your path/your squad' callsign. I understand that it would take a HUGE amount of effort (not to mention hard drive space) to allow you to choose between ANY squad mate encountered in the previous games. But i just feel like they took the easy way out.
Sorry if im totally off topic, im just a bit flustered after having my worst fears confirmed (litteraly five seconds ago). I was really hoping for a squadie not a pen pal.

She's not with you on the Normandy, we've known that for quite some time. Instead, if the leaked script is correct, we get to meet her two times before her mission, then do a main plot mission with her, and after that I think there's one other scene and a vidcomm call in the end. If that holds true, she still has more content than the other ME2-exclusive romances. If they changed some of those personal meetings into vidcomm calls, that would suck.jameshowlett89 wrote...

What I was referring to is the implications of the endings, which I won't go into here in detail, but it basically means the ending scenario leaves the possibility of a happy ending with Miranda hanging in the air, even if we'll never get to see it, which is more than certain other LIs get....well, perhaps the endings look different to me once I've seen them in person, but the picture painted for them so isn't pretty.

If this is about her not being on the team, we've known that for some time. If the leaked script is still correct, though, we'll get about as much content as we can expect for a non-team member (see above). Which is disappointing, but not the end of the world.

What really makes me happy about ME3 is that Paragon/Renegade aren't mutually exclusive anymore. So I can play as Paragade or Renegon without having to worry about not having certain options, now if only they could go back and remake the series with this system.

O nothing from bioware/ea if thats what your looking for. THe 5 seconds ago part was because i havent really been following ME3 for a few months now (Skyrim/BF3 took over for a while) so tonight was my first checkin in a few months.
Just some of the spoilers out there, and some of the comments on this thread. 1+1 generally = 2.
I mean i guess there is still a chance but everything out there seems to confirm the pen pal scenerio.

OK, false alarm. I just got the information that we "meet her a few times to talk" before her mission. So her presence is not reduced to emails and vidcomms.Skullheart wrote...

It's a main plot mission. If she's alive and has been loyal in ME2, you're always going to meet her there. From what I've read, I'm under the impression that you need to have romanced Miri to get her mission in ME3?

I'm 95% sure that she doesn't have a culmination. The remaining 5% is just because of her line about ** She crashing in Shepard's party. And considerating that Cortez culmination takes place after a party it gime little hopes. Same with Jack, by her line "Shepard, everyone knows you can't dance." Those lines and the suppossed not written content gives me the 5% certain of they having a love scene. Yes, love. Not just sex)**
Xoi said that the culmination with Liara was good (they knew they might not see each other, so they have a very emotional night). But that's territory of Walters waifu, so I doubt they wrote something similar to every LI.
