It's either Miranda's sister or spoiler squadmate, kinda.

Not less than any other ME2-exclusive team member. I don't think I've seen even a second of Jack or Thane. Even ME3 assistant Traynor (who you can romance as femShep) only appears for a few seconds. No big matter.Casterdael wrote...
Why does Miranda got only so little screentime in the trailers, dammit.

What threw me off was thinking that "it" was suppose to be bloned cause it was based off Eva Core, wasn't it?

Well, I don't think those guys have a fanbase as large as Miranda has. She is perhaps even more popular than Ashley. So it doesn't make that much sense having her so little on screen, even if she has a reduced role in the upcoming installment.

VS has plot armor & is a squadmate (more time on screen).
ME2 squadmates are integrated to the story (showing too much would be spoilers to the general public -- also less time on screen than ME2)

Too similar with Miranda's outfit (hands, outline of the top part of suit)
Looks like Oriana to me

Agreed, here is a comparison of the back. The circular thing is also very similar. I'm inclined to think that this character is purposely supposed to look like Miranda. Which means Ori would make the most sense.

And I doubt Oriana being able to use her omnitool to launch attacks.

What is this about a "Transfer." I thought Edi's body was Completely Cybernetic. That body above appears to be Organic.

I mean, a light redesign or none at all for the ME2 squadmates. And a full redesign for a side character from the same game. That just doesn't look good..

Unlike her sister, Oriana is certain to appear in all games in ME3 and her role has been expanded even more if Miranda is dead.
Giving her a new look that reminds players of Miranda makes sense.

IIRC, Ori is now fighting. She wouldn't be able to fight in the outfit she wore in her ME2 cameo (a dress I believe).Skullheart wrote...
I hope she's EVA.
