I think that picture might be Oriana. I don't think it's EDI. EDI's got blond hair and a robotic body. That body used to be human-looking, but it gets damaged. The artbook says they went for a humanoid-but-robotic look for her.

Also the back is a dead giveaway.

I've got that in the back of my mind. May do a NG+ where Miri gets killed and headcanon that Thomas hooks up with Oriana (Miranda's dying wish is that he takes care of her).

Ori isn't actually an option, but I created Lawrence with her in mind. It was actually a challenge creating someone who would be head over heels for Ori but didn't get along with Miranda. Not interested in Ori as a replacement.

She cannot join Shepard's squad, however, so committing to her does preclude other romances, this long distance relationship can be lonely an may not feel as rewarding as others."

Also: "If Shepard commits to a relationship with Miranda and warns her about Kai Leng, it increases her chances of surviving the *SPOILER* mission. If not, she dies in Shepard's arms."

So the guide has a big flashing sign up saying 'Don't stay with Miranda'. Not good. I'll be sticking with her and in my feedback giving them grief over why they didn't spend their time making ME2 romances feel as rewarding.

That's my concern too. It would confirm our fears that the scenario where Miranda survives was an aftertought.

Dunno, doesn't really say Jtav. There's some other stuff about the mission with her father, but nothing much about her conversation. Says that you meet her on the Citadel at one point and she asks for alliance resources to track her father down and you have the choice to give them for paragon points or deny for renegade. Also says that before the final mission there's a range scene for "any romanced character. Theyll show up in your cabin and you can choose to spend the night with them or not, also with extra conversation in the morning."

If it's true and not just wrong wording on behalf of the guide then it'd have been way better if that was tied to her loyalty not relationship status.

does the guide warns about "long distance relationship" when talking about Jack as well? or it's only about Miranda?

All in all though, I think it will be ok...sounds like we get a final romance scene with her on the Normandy, so that works for me. Also, reading some of the thee things about the game...DEAR GOD.

I'm not convinced its Oriana. The hair is the exact same as the EDI model. I'm betting thats the body but EDI's not in it yet.

Oddly enough, the characters section of the guide doesn't have a section specifically for her. Same with Thane, Samara, Legion, Wrex, and a few others. I have confidence about the romance scene aboard the ship. As long as I have that, I'm satisfied.
