And we won't know who that Woman in the picture is until we get the Actual Game. 4 Days Left....
We may be Surprised.

does the guide warns about "long distance relationship" when talking about Jack as well? or it's only about Miranda?
Oddly enough, the characters section of the guide doesn't have a section specifically for her. Same with Thane, Samara, Legion, Wrex, and a few others. I have confidence about the romance scene aboard the ship. As long as I have that, I'm satisfied.
I think they are warning us about the "distance relationship" stuff because a lot of people still think Miri will actually be a squadmate. and I agree, the romance scene was something... unexpected I would say.. good surprise

Please tell me she doesn't stay on the Normandy? Because, you know...
She doesn't, according to the war assets she's in the Hammer team or whatever they call it... so she's on ground on Earth.

All in all though, I think it will be ok...sounds like we get a final romance scene with her on the Normandy, so that works for me. Also, reading some of the thee things about the game...DEAR GOD.
And I think my hypothesis that someone at Bioware REALLY wants her dead has been proven true. They didn't agree with our interpretation of her character and didn't want any controversial element to survive the story, so.....poof. She's dead if unromanced. I think I have to increase my stockpile of tar and feathers again. And that epic rant I promised is definitely coming. Not yet sure how much of it will be about the endings and how much about Miranda, but it'll be there.
Edit:
Though a romance scene will make up for a lot.

If it's true that she dies if un-romanced (I'm somewhat skeptical on that), my two FSheps are going to be livid. Her and Ash are their two BFFs (aside from their respective LIs).

Does that mean long range projected image convo that lasts all night or long range message and then surprise visit from Miranda in person.

I think and hope the wording might be wrong. If I'm not mistaken, she survived in the game of the user who has already completed the Space Edition and he was romancing Liara.husky husk wrote...

@ieldra, it straight up said we get a final romance scene with our LI near the end. Says "any romanced character" shows up in Shep's room.
@Td1984:
Remember that I'll only have the game next friday and I'll need a few days to play it (Have taken a few days off from work actually)

Sure there must be a loyalty mechanic at work for this not just a LI flag.

It will be only for the characters you can romance during ME3. <_<

Possibly but doubtfull. That would exclude Tali and Garrus.Yannkee wrote...

Having said that, strategy guides are notorious for getting such details wrong, one or the other way.

I'm still wavering on whether that gif is of Ori or EVA. Keep in mind that Miranda's catsuit was provided by Cerberus and EVA is Cerberus. That could be the reason for similar catsuits. Plus, the hairstyle matches (BW could've retconned the color).Dr. Doctor wrote...
I'm not sure if I'd mind an unromanced Miranda dying. I like her character, but in the event that Miranda doesn't survive Oriana takes quite a few levels in badass.

Tali & Garrus are squadmates, so I think they'll get a scene ...
I'm sure only the characters with the "truelove" variable will have one <_<

Yannkee does make a lot of sense... unfortunately.
As Buffy once said "You're ruining my happy day."
I'd rested my pitchfork against the wall and was smiling at the thought of that night with Miranda. Now it is time to pick it back up and go be annoyed at the endings once more.

Now, there are two different sources claiming there will be more interactions with ME2 LIs outside of their respective missions.
There is still, of course, the very real possibility that Miranda is excluded from this but, right now, we don't know one way or the other. We don't even know what the true love variable changes...if anything.
