Actually, your version *is* just as valid. More so, since you usually have more respect for the lore than Bioware's writers. What your version doesn't have is the weight of a large community experiencing it on its side. But...hmmm....but if we could get together with others and agree on outlines of our endings, while everyone writes about their characters and their roles within the framework of those outlines, it could acquire such weight. Hmm.... this gets me thinking...

::Story update:: Just uploaded chapter 4. It's the longest chapter so far. It isn't quite as brutal as 2 or 3, but it's equally dark. Feedback is still greatly appreciated. Note: I just uploaded it, it may take a couple of minutes for my story to update on-site. Another note: This chapter contains a bit more language than the previous 3. Just a fair warning.

Funny you say that cause I get more attached to the majority of Rockstar game characters than I do with most other  games. Gears on the other hand heh-heh is impossible for me to take seriously.

The level of emotional integrity in Gears has actually taken quite the step up, especially in Gears 3.

Rather, the materials written by Karen Traviss. What's-his-name that wrote the first 2 games was terrible. The only good thing he put out was Dom's shift halfway through Gears 2.

Karen's novels based on the Gears-verse are very highly reviewed and widely praised, I strongly recommend them.

Not going to delve on it longer though, veering off topic.

Karen Traviss wrote Gears-of-War lore? Interesting. I can recommend her book series "Tales of the Wess'har Wars". Good SF.

I like how they could express Miranda's sexuality without overblowing it (Disregarding the abomination of a LotSB dossier).

That said, Miranda's romance scene is my favorite from both of the games so far.

ME1's scenes were copy/pasted, just with different characters. ME2's varied from good to creepy.

They aren't going to require a lot for her survival, she's a minor character.

That said, it seems FAR, FAR easier to get her killed off than it is to have her survive.

Well that's kinda sad but expected, especially if there's no scene between the two. No intimacy and others have steamy sessions in the Captain's quarters.

IIRC, they are also interrupted halfway through. I never learned who it was or where it takes place, though.
