Well, my maleshep did leave Ashley... and not because Miranda was hot or anything like that.  He was hurt by what Ashley said to him on Horizon and lost all trust in him.  That hurts.  The one you love not trusting you. 

So yeah, looking forward to Shepard finally getting that off his chest come ME3 but Ashley lost him.  He loves Miranda and they both trust each other and support each other.  So there ya have it. 

Personally I like both characters but Ashley went down a few in my books with her catty comments but heck, I wanted to know how'd she react so.  It's all good. :)   He know he picked the right woman...

She certainly did, in that respect.

Although I'm not sure if I'd consider Ashley a "lead" in ME1 (Or any other character in ME1, for that matter).

Liara's had a free pass for 2 games.

AFAIK, she also can't be "sacrificed" like most of the other squadmates can, in ME3.

(I'm not going to bother mentioning the end of the game, since basically everyone can die there.)

Even without knowing the endings... Think about it.

It's a war story, and you're fighting a legion of sentient starships hell-bent on destroying and harvesting all intelligent life.

People.
Will.
Die.

Expecting to come from the fight relatively unharmed is jsut silly.

Heck, the advertising and demo footage for ME3 make it clear that a LOT of people will die.

Just that people will die. Period.

I'm not sure why they would.

Shepard is what? 34 years old? Oriana is turning 19. I don't think Shepard is a creeper, at least, none of mine are.

Plus Oriana already has a crush on a boy in her class, so she's already chasing someone. Shepard is obviously with Miranda, so I just don't see why Miranda and Oriana would fight over Shepard.

I know you're talking in hypotheticals, but I just can't see it happening. Or, even possible, for that matter.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I actually don't want a threesome with Miranda and someone else.

Partially because I can't really see Miranda as the kind of person who would "share" Shepard with someone else.
