I thought you guys and girls might be interested in the latest that has been uploaded on the mass effect 3 website page of news.

Evil Chris Priestly (that is what his name is showing on Mass Effect 3 website randomly) and it is an article talking about 10 things MASS EFFECT fans must know from tie-ins.

http://www.newsarama...3-110707-1.html

it does say that Miranda and Jacob are mentioned as well in the article.

it also gives some surprising information about cerberus and the alliance as well as Aria and Anderson. (may contain spoilers)

and it must be accurate considering bioware have put it on the news on the mass effect 3 website

i stopped reading at "kahlee sanders is important". worst. character. ever.

after the first one, which didn't feature her, the books have been even worse than the damn comics - and that's going some - BW's quality control has generally been ok with the games/lithos, but a helluva lot of the other stuff has been damagingly substandard. <_<

LOL. Nice. Not for me though. I'd feel embarrassed wearing one of these.

might not wear it but i'll get one - someone actually recognised the game when i was wearing my N7 hoodie @ the cinema a month or so ago, i was quite pleasantly surprised.

Perhaps Miri doesn't want to be part of an Organization anymore. You ever thought about that?

What if Miri just wants a Normal Life with us (Shep)?

For crying out loud stop and think. You are all saying what she should do, when you are not the devs.

Think about what Miri would want.

No more political conflicts, war, organizations, JUST a NORMAL LIFE.

Isn't it as ridiculous claiming that she would want a 'normal life' as to the divergence of opinion on which organisation she'd be wanting to choose?

I mean, there can be no 'normal life' in the immediate future anyway because a giant race of sentient warships are about to land and start liquidating people (har har, I like my puns sometimes) left right and centre, and on top of all that, what the hell is 'normal' anyway? And to top that off yet again, what the hell is 'normal' to a genetically engineered super-woman?

agreed. miranda is not normal, why would she want normal, mundane things? why would shepard?

I think is motherly sense, any woman taking care of her sister like that has to be because of motherly sense, it's not the same as brothers.

Why? Why must you be so mean. I'm overreacting on it, it's the truth. You were my friend once. But now you have become nothing but a complete ****.

I am as much as a fan as you. You just don't seem to understand that. You are the one who cut me from you friend list for an unintellegent reason. That too, is being too worked up on a situation.

The other discussion was a lot better then this.  Not filled with tyrants who think their opinions matter the most. and believe that people who think otherwise are unintelligent.

it's probably the heart spam that did it.

seriously though, this thread (or this forum) isn't the place for your personal issues or posts like that - take it to pm/whatever.

But would she...you know what, it's hard getting through to everyone here.

What if what she wanted to after the war was A peaceful future? Would you say no and take it all away from her?

It's obvious that no one else here wants the simplest things in life.

She would very demanding and very protective. Perhaps too much so. Otherwise, there is really no indication of what she thinks of it. I can very much see that she'd find the whole thing rather frustrating.

Here. Am I not predictable :P

Well, isn't that part of motherhood. She does have to raise the children with shep.

Same, I assume she'd be on alert constantly, especially after the kids grow a bit older and start to move around. I think it would take her awhile to adjust, but just because you're caring and protective, it doesn't make you instantly great mother. Everything can be overdone. :?

Hmm, why do you think she would find it fustrating? I think she would be overwhelmed with emotion seeing as (if) she has overcome her sterility problem.  From the SB Files, it seems that having a child is a very important thing she wants in life.

I agree with the fact that she would be very protective. She showed that with Oriana.

Well kids can't be completely controlled, you can't protect them from everything. You'll do your best, but it's never completely enough. I think it would be bit new for her to care for someone so deeply and value him/her more than her own life. It could possibly be frustrating for her when something doesn't go like she wants it. You can tell a child to sit down and wait, but when you turn around she/he could running to the opposite direction.

She's been part of high level operations, where people are supposed to do their jobs and do them best they can. Keeping an eye on a child, could be really really stressful for her, like it is for all parents. But for her it might be even more stressful. Being used to control, then have it stripped away..

Ahhh, I see what you mean. I respect that. She probably would find it a little more fustrating as she would want that control but surely she knows a child will be a little more work and therefore prepare herself for it.
Well, she can always just get Shepard to take over while she calms down a bit..... Posted Image

No, she wants children as a sign that she's a normal human in that regard. Not exactly a healthy attitude if you ask me, and it says nothing about how she'd be able to deal with it.

And can we drop the family stuff already? I'd very much prefer to leave that to the players' imagination. I want Miranda to find a way to have children, preferably by using a technology similar to her father's, indicating that she's come to terms with her origins. But I don't want to see or hear of those children in ME3 itself.

If she ever gets cured of infertility i can see that Miranda would love her child no matter what. She wouldn't mind the frustration.

That's speculation. I see where you're coming from but I can just as easily say that she wants a child in order to prove to herself that she can suceed at something her genetics couldn't have prepared her for.

Anyway, I think Miranda sending Oriana a love advice taken from a magazine is a good preview of how she would be as a mother. She would love her child but she would have no idea how to show it.
Migth be easier if Shepard is around.

haha... I was wearing my Tali t-shirt at work the other day.  One my co-workers noticed it.  She's a big fan of Tali.  I had asked her the question if she wanted to see her face.  She was like YES!  I asked her if she liked Miranda.  She said she was so cold.  I told her yes, at first.  You have to get to know her backstory.  Then jokes about her friend liking Miranda and all.  It was a great conversation.   Slowly but surely converting all my co-workers to play mass effect. muahahaha.    I have another co-worker whos all over Liara.

Okay... back to Miranda...
