You know... Kelly has an extinsive dialogue abour her, TIM and Cerberus. She's even crucial for some Cerberus war assets.
Miranda, has less lines about TIM and Cerberus than Kelly. It's like "I'm not in Cerberus anymore, I won't say anything more about them." She can do great thing to help Shepard, butwe still don't know what she does, and if is even important.
Her character was prety shafted. If it weren't for Oriana or the romance she would have zero relevance in the game.
Every character from ME2 advance to be something better from what they were in ME2.*
Jack training biotic children. Tali as an Admiral or tech specialist in the quarian fleet. Legion giving the get identity. Mordin curing the genophage. Garrus having his own force in Palavern. etc.*
And Miranda with no Cerberus is just nothing.
And something more frustating, in the files I didn't even found any lines or conversation betwen Miranda and her father. One of the things I most anticipated when I heard about her mission involving his father was a confrontation, and we won't even get that.
If you don't have any imagination to create a good headcanon her character is ruined. Bioware failed to write her in ME3.
