If she were a squadmate, all of this would be easily rectified, with the increased screen time and opportunity for fleshing out.

Seeing as we arent going to see our LI after the ending of ME3, there isnt much to worry other than the ****storm ending.

Actually, Shepard and Miranda can be together at the end of ME3...

Provided you're fine with Miranda being separated from Oriana for the rest of their lives, and the technology being set back centuries.

I actually prefered KOTOR 2 to 1, just a shame it was incomplete! But I thought the characters were a lot better written

And despite being so obvious, you seem to fail to grasp what I am saying.
Miranda does not need to be a squadmate. She has enough dialogue even without that particular distinction.
Her dialogue simply appears to be far too focused on some issues in detriment of others.
