Yes, that information is unfortunately true. They also mangled her character her so badly that I'll be going "Who is this impostor and where is Miranda" while I'm playing. We'll see if the visuals can make up for some of that.Sully_47 wrote...

Havnt been able to check here for a while, just to get caught up on things , does the romance for Miranda seem better now than a couple days ago , and is the end scene problem still there or is there any indication it will be fixed ?
It certainly seems better, what with the little bit of extra dialogue from the new datamines.
But what do you mean by "end scene"?
Seeing someone else and not Miranda in a flashback towards the end...

If they don't fix this, I think I'm gonna replace the bik movie of Liara by a movie featuring Miranda.

I do Arrival after the SM, like I imagine most people do. My Shepard is doing it for Hackett, not the Alliance. Hackett and Anderson are the only 2 people left in the Alliance my Shepard considers friends. He knows they have his back, and he has both of theirs.
I got the Hackett message during a playthough (last one I did which was the only one I didn't finish before Arrival purchase). And yes it was for Hackett asking that my Shep didn't say "FU, Alliance." How everyone else treated the returning Shep including the VS, only Anderson and Hackett could have made that request without getting a rude reply.

I approve of this. Otherwise, I have to try to get some satisfaction out of killing her in any possible way available.

Believe me, I'm considering killing Miranda. We've gone beyond me being finicky to BW not even telling the story they're trying to tell properly.
Check the Miranda spoiler group to see what this is about. For a mild spoiler: it appears that the scene we "knew" was missing from the script.....does not exist. Which would've been the culmination of Miranda's personal story.

I feel sorry for her. Every fanbase, with the possible exception of Jack's, is getting screwed.
not sure, some Jack's fans told me she was very OOC during the game(except for the romance it seems, but I'm not sure).. guess that's happening with almost every character actually.. BW created the characters extremely well, but ended up forcing their actions and behaviour during ME3 in order to fit the main plot.

Bioware failed to write her in ME3.
Bioware failed to write ME3 properly as it is. Lazy b**tards. Seriously, it's the LAST GODDAMN GAMME IN THE F*CKING TRILOGY. At LEAST TRY to write DECENTLY instead of just pulling a 'screw this, no matter what sh*t I produce, I'll still have morons who'll love it, so I'm not even going to put in any effort', for the love of f*ck.

I don't want to point at anyone, but that actually sounds more like EA than Bioware. : /

That's funny, because, I just watched 3 hours of the beginning of the game and the writing is outstanding thus far. Better than the first two games even.JosephDucreux wrote...

Yeah, because the beginning tells how the whole story goes? ME2 beginning was rather boring, even more so than ME1's. Ending is the point which can ruin all that has come before, I mean like movie Titanic, even though most probably knew how it would end, before they saw it anyway.

Wait till somewhere before the midpoint. It goes steeply downhill from there. Please, don't even get me started on the characters, which is the main focus here. So what they do is awe you in the first 2 hours, then they stopped giving a f*ck. For the remaining 30+ hours of game left.

@Mel: Read above.
@P-AGE and anyone else: If you are interested in watching the first 3 hours of Mass Effect (at least, what this guy plays), go here http://www.twitch.tv...tuk/b/310521017
If you are concerned about spoilers I suggest don't watch it. You find out how to defeat the Reapers and what Cerberus is up to, but that's about it for major spoilers. Also, the commentators are annoying as hell, so keep your fingers on the volume control.

That's the impression indeed. The romance content appears to be really good, everything else is done sloppily at best and with character assassination at worst. Sounds like they gave the ME2-exclusives to inexperienced writers so that the big guns could concentrate on the team members.Avy DiSartori wrote...
