Read up lemon apparently you can give out miracle pregnancies like candy o.o

Enaya wasn't saying she gets a miracle pregnancy.

Miranda doesn't get a miracle pregnancy, does she?

I know I was teasing only because you can seem to give those out

You know the sh*t's hit the fan when jtav's willing to let Miranda have a miracle pregnancy just so she doesn't get royally screwed up the ass.

Yay! Gief miracle pregnancy, not that anything done with Miri could save me from not liking the endings. I am somewhat happy about stuff I've read and learned about Miri so far, but it's all been for nothing, if the endings turn out to be what I've heard.

Just to be clear: there's no pregnancy. Things are so dire that I would find that preferable, however.

Oh well, still liking what I've read so far, when comparing to the expectations I had.

I couldn't care less about the endings had Miranda and her role in ME3 been worthy of her.
As it stand, it appears that Miranda has been mangled beyond recognition to make her a more "safe" character. And they even failed to do what they set out to do when they chose to include both her father and Cerberus in just one mission.

So, Miranda's role is detestable and Shepard is no longer a character the player can help create and define.
I'm starting to wonder why I should play ME3 at all. To hear Blasto-related Easter Eggs?

Is it concrete evidence that she's been "mangled" and is the flashback thing definite ? I for one am still clinging to a little hope

I'm just playing so I can get the details right for the inevitable fix fic. The hilarious thing is that they leave a hook to put her on the squad right from the beginning.

What do you mean about Shepard not being to be defined etc.?

Well I haven't read anyting that would point into her being mangled. Unless her interaction with her father for some weird reason was make/break point for someone. I personally couldn't care less about her father.

Are the people mad about Miranda because she wants to save Oriana?

Most of what Shepard says appears to be either auto-dialogue or comprised of only two dialogue options.

Speaking for myself, Oriana's inclusion is extremelly annoying because it makes Miranda appear to be a one-sided character.

But, right now, my biggest complaint is her interaction, or lack thereof, with her father.
Yes, this is a game breaking problem for me. Like literally. I will literally break the game if this comes to be.

SPOILERS BELOW!
SPOILER BELOW!

It's on the spoiler group but most people are asking here, so I will answer here: people are mad because it looks like Miranda doesn't even talk to her father properly during the game. And we were really looking forward to their confrontation.. nothing really confirmed however..

Phew, then I can be extremely happy about her role, just two more points to clean up and I might actually love the game.

I don't really know why the Oriana part bugs people. I can totally understand it why she does it. The galaxy is in chaos and ruins. Do you serieusly believe Miranda would waste her time thinking how to advance humanity?

Me personally, no I'm not mad Miranda cares deeply for Oriana and would do anything to protect her sister.
I mean I'm annoyed Miranda's not really involved with much of the Cerberus plotline but what can I do complain some more with two days left till I get my hands on the game and 5 days for European release which sucks

Personally I firmly believe that there is more dialogue that's just stored somewhere else. I have (obviously) no idea how these things work but I just cannot believe BW would pass up something like the confrontation between Miranda and her father. I just can't believe they would do that.

(Plus, apparently there's no friendship path for a female Shepard and Ashley -this is not actually as offtopic as it may seem- which also seems rather unlikely/impossible. The only thing explaining it would be that not all dialogue has been found. That's at least what I'm sticking with.)

Especially since BW saw people's reaction from the leaked files.Miranda is the character with the most potential and passing that up would simply be stupid. I'm going to stay positive.

Thinking on how to protect it might be a good idea. And, personally, I would be fine if Miranda at least alluded to her ideals still being intact.

Miranda's love for her sister is beautiful. However, it is, by far, the simplest, most safe and common part of her character. It's good to know that it is there but it's boring to focus her entire appearance on it.

If they would focus on her ideals then it would be boring too because it would just be the same Miranda from ME 2. It would look as if she didn't made any character development at all.

Right now it looks like she does. She has learned to let go of her ideals and focus more on the people she cares about. Thats a good thing in my book.

That's character assassination in my book. Ideals are what separates the great and the mundane.
The very fact that she will be fighting Cerberus, already hints towards character development. Had the writers then chose to have her talk about how much TIM's betrayal of herself and humanity has changed how she views the galaxy and the role of humans and it is, definitively, character development.

unfortunately we will never reach an agreement. Now that we have all Miranda's content in the game( and, surprisingly, there's much more content than I could expect 2 months ago), people are going to be divided into two groups: the ones who are happy with the "romance and Oriana focused Miranda". and the ones who feel her character was completely destoyed by the lack of cerberus related dialogue. Franquly, I can understand both..

I'm not mad because she wants to save Oriana. I think about it like this: Aside from Shepard (if romanced), Oriana is the only thing Miranda has. Naturally, she's going to want to keep her saife at all costs, especially right now.

I am a little perturbed by the apparent lack of Cerberus closure in her arc though.

Bioware failed to write her in ME3.

Bioware failed to write ME3 properly as it is. Lazy b**tards. Seriously, it's the LAST GODDAMN GAMME IN THE F*CKING TRILOGY. At LEAST TRY to write DECENTLY instead of just pulling a 'screw this, no matter what sh*t I produce, I'll still have morons who'll love it, so I'm not even going to put in any effort', for the love of f*ck.

That's funny, because, I just watched 3 hours of the beginning of the game and the writing is outstanding thus far. Better than the first two games even.

So, just no.

The endings.

That is all.

So, who was the guy who wrote Miranda in this game anyway. He forgot to include:

- Closure to her past with Cerberus.
- Her view of the galactic stage.
- A proper contribution to the war (Kelly is more important than her).
- With those endings any epilogue is trash. So i won't talk about her role after the reapers (no chance to TIW at all).
- No even a single mention to her shadow broker dossier.

So, anyone knows where I can find a panda costume?

So much hate towards the writers... Someone likened the endings to Titanic awhile back - like the movie or not, it was extremely well written. Why? Because throughout it you were so wrapped up in emotion that you forgot you were watching a movie. ME has always been about the story and how you get so attached to the characters. The EASY thing to do would have been to write a happy ending. And then, we'd never think about it again. Some of the best stories don't necessarily have happy endings, or even endings at all - they simple *are*. They show the full spectrum of pain and happiness, and the two ends mutually validate each other. And they leave you thinking deeply and passionately about what just happened.
