Cool story bro.
Yeah seriously, what the heck is this guys problem? It's like he's looking for a reason to pick a fight with everyone.

Her not being the central figure in the fight with her father is just stupid.
Indeed. Basically, Miranda's involvement in ME3 amounts to a confrontation with her father that is differed until late in the game. Apparently, that "confrontation" is entirely lacking in substance and is therefore pointless.
Thus, the whole thing is pointless

I was right. I was exactly right. She's there to die and/or be romanced.
So it would seem, yes. Mostly die in ME3, I guess. I've been reluctant to agree that this was the main focus, but apparently it is. Her involvement makes no sense narratively in the scenario where she survives. But it does, a little bit, if she dies. Not in a way that I like at all, of course. But the whole thing makes slightly more sense from that point of view.

Is it possible that we analyzed the line and actions of Miranda too closely, creating something that was never there, something that Bioware never intended to be there. Perhaps the person this thread has been debating about never really existed in any of those forms...Bioware just created someone with enough depth to gather interest but enough blank slate for everyone to connect their own perceptions of her on her. Or it is what weve been saying all along
Well, that character did exist. All kinds of interesting things could have been done with Miranda in ME3. The fact that they didn't do any of them doesn't change that.
It does make the wasted potential all the more appalling, though

No, it's just the most valid interpretation of what we know.

Yea I agree with you. I was trying to rationalize why Bioware has doen with what thye ahve done. It just really boggle my mind about how many times they have dropped the ball with her. It could have been really easy too but ....I don't know... I guess it is true. Bioware is telling us "You chose wrong."
Edit: But it is what it is.. I'll just play the game, make my own judgements and move on from there. If it turns out that I do not like the story, or if it feels liek they ruined the universe, I just won't buy from Bioware anymore simple as that. Wouldn't be the first company I have stopped buying games from and Bioware is not immune to that possibility either.

I guess. I've resisted that idea for quite a while, but the facts are against me.
Even if her survival does have an asset value attached to it (which is still possible, I guess, given that there are some assets out there that don't really seem to have a source at the moment), it's clear that this wasn't the focus of her involvement.
The scenario where she survives appears to be borderline nonsense, actually. She's on Sanctuary, then on the Citadel again, I guess, for a dialog. Then part of the ground forces on earth... What? By herself?
It's lol-worthy, really.

Other character grew betwen ME2 and ME3, and Miranda only changed for worst.
I0m starting to hate Liara with the "you don't know how much you changed her" and she being the future of humanity. LIES LIES LIES.

For the romance , does Shepard and Miranda have any dialogue before the final battle? if shes a ground force and sheps Doing some crazy **** It would be nice to talk to her before we possibly die
It's not 100% clear, but she seems to be on earth somewhere, but not with Shepard. So, ground forces, I guess. But she's not leading any forces into the battle, so why she doesn't join Shepard on the Normandy is anyone's guess.
Shep doesn't have the option to ask her to join up after her mission. You can ask at the beginning, at which point she says she would love to, but she has to deal with her father/Oriana first. So, once that's dealt with, Shepard apparently forgets. Or something.
It's not very coherent.

Have you got a link handy? Or a youtube video?
