Yea I agree with you. I was trying to rationalize why Bioware has doen with what thye ahve done. It just really boggle my mind about how many times they have dropped the ball with her. It could have been really easy too but ....I don't know... I guess it is true. Bioware is telling us "You chose wrong."

Edit: But it is what it is.. I'll just play the game, make my own judgements and move on from there. If it turns out that I do not like the story, or if it feels liek they ruined the universe,  I just won't buy from Bioware anymore simple as that. Wouldn't be the first company I have stopped buying games from and Bioware is not immune to that possibility either.

I agree with everything you say, except the "you chose wrong" part.. it seems like 90% of the main characters are acting OOC during ME3.. it's definetely not only Miranda's problem. last week I read something that Tali does if you side with the geth, which is like the most OOC thing possible IMO, just to give an example. It's like BW created the characters well, but failed to keep their personalities during ME3.

Not to try and make excuses, but if the galaxy and everything around it was getting blown to pieces I'd probably be acting out of character as well.

I wouldn't even say that Miranda is acting "out of character," exactly. It's more that her involvement in the game is limited to what is basically an exact copy of her Loyalty Mission in the prior game, with a change of decor. In the prior game, of course, her involvement was not limited to the Loyalty Mission.

A rehashed story, combined with Miranda not doing anything else, and not being in the game much = an appearance I can't be even mildly pleased with.

It's not 100% clear, but she seems to be on earth somewhere, but not with Shepard. So, ground forces, I guess. But she's not leading any forces into the battle, so why she doesn't join Shepard on the Normandy is anyone's guess.

Shep doesn't have the option to ask her to join up after her mission. You can ask at the beginning, at which point she says she would love to, but she has to deal with her father/Oriana first. So, once that's dealt with, Shepard apparently forgets. Or something.

It's not very coherent.

So is it 100% certain that we can't get her to join Shepards party in any way? be it temp or peramanent?

No. I will not watch this video. I will not see this until I experience it Myself.

But tell me, do I need to watch it in order to make sure that I know when to do this? When does this happen?

Sounds to me like the same basic arrangement as Tali and Haestrom, only maybe they didn't finish the latter portion where she does join. Maybe DLC?

Structurally, it is very similar, yeah.

Can you join me?/No, I have to take care of X.

Later on...

X has been taken care of.

So, you'd expect Shep to say: That's taken care of, can you join me now?

I'd at least expect Shep to be able to ask, and Miranda to refuse for some new reason.

But she has nothing to do, and no reason not to join. Yet the option to ask her to join isn't there either.

It's a complete mess, really.

Now she looks just as she should. They really made every character look even hotter than before.

Part of me wish they never introduced Miranda in ME3. They ruined her character in a way they can't even fix anymore.
