Nicely done, but for the above banner I'd change the ordering it so that from left to right you see:
*Picture of Miranda* -> "Miranda Lawson" (along with the artwork in the background) -> "Mass Effect 3 logo"

Again, this is just my opinion, and thanks again for posting these fine banners!

Let me ask everyone this: Would Miri make a good mother?

I think it would be tough to be her kid. Not that she wouldn't love her children. I just see her being overdemanding and controlling. Lot of tough love from Ms. Lawson. But I think she would learn to find a good balance between pushing her kids and controlling them eventually...

..Or Miranda could spoil the kid rotten because she didn't have a nice childhood.

Nice banners the top and bottom one I like very much :-).

Just chipping in here, I don't agree with some of the stuff Miranda says throughout the game, but I respect her character very much and find her to be a very complex and deep person. With that said, I can't wait to see what her involvement in ME3 will be and I'm looking forward to it.

Hopefully they'll add some cool "friendship" banter in the next installment because for me personally, I can't romance her, so I'm still hoping for some good friendship conversations. Especially involving her sister and not being apart of Cerberus anymore.

What, my theory isn't good enough for you all? But every other is? Don't make me laugh.
You all obviously didn't realize that I was explaining events in AFTER, I REPEAT, AFTER the war against the Reapers.

I'm tired of of hearing that she will preserve Cerberus. Why the hell would she want to preserve an Organization with a dark past.

Face it, NONE of us are correct yet. EVEN YOU jtav AND Ieldra too, so stop thinking that what you want will happen. The odds of what you want to happen are the same as mine.

And another thing, I am tired of hearing how some people want her cold again.

That is all....

Good grief, calm down! Why are you so worked up over such small disagreements?Posted Image

Even though I have disagreements with jtav and Ieldra, I don't get so worked up...so relax. Geez. And the rest of you seriously aren't making it any better.

Anyways, Miri would be an AWESOME mother. She'll be quite demanding, but she'll be an overprotective mother bear Posted Image, and extremely loving and caring. When her kids start dating, this would probably happen:

Miri: So...Jess...I heard you're dating the hunky quarterback Marcus hmm?

Jessica (child of Shep&Miranda): Mom...how..?

Shepard: You've been stalking her classmates again?!Posted Image

Miri: Oh sweetie...I know EVERYTHING you do and who you interact with. For example, James, the cute nerd in your class, has an IQ of 188 and he's amazing at his studies. You like him a lot and he helps you out with your schoolwork a lot...but he's got an unrequited crush on you which you don't know about-

Jess: Mom...stop...

Miri: And of course, there's Marcus, who flunked his Advanced Math last semester, and he fractured his shin last year...and he's a playboy. Jess, you'd better stay away from him...he's a right scumbag.

Jess: Mom...

Shepard: *whispering to his daughter* When Miri starts on stuff like this, she's UNSTOPPABLE.

Jess: *whispers back* Tell me about it.Posted Image

Miri: Finally, there's your BFF, Amber, who you always hang out with. She's got an IQ of 156 and she's always gotten at least a B on every subject since she started schooling. You've known her since kindergarten and you're as thick as thieves-

Jess: *screams* MOM!!!

Miri: Don't you dare interrupt me like that, young woman! As I was saying, you and Amber are total sworn sisters. Also, Marcus is a very, very terrible choice for a boyfriend. Have you seen the number of exes he has on his FaceTab page? I'm pretty sure-

Jess: *screams* MOM I'M LESBIAN!!! I'M DATING AMBER ALRIGHT?!!

Miri: Wha-seriously? It can't be...

Shepard: I knew all along...I think you're slipping Miri.

Miri: This is a joke, right? Jessica Shepard, you're kidding right? ...Right?

Jess: Nope. No joke. U mad, mom? *trollface*

Yay me and my boyfriend just ordered a pair! Matching Miri-loving couple for the win!Posted Image

@enya
My class has about 15 (myself included) people who play ME2. 4 guys, another 2 girls and I LOVE Miri to bits. 2 guys and a girl hate Miri...and they're Talimancers. Figures.Posted Image One guy is crazy about Ash and indifferent to everyone else, another guy and girl are crazy over Jack AND Miri (they crated multiple Sheps to romance both jack and Miri), and the rest are either Liara fans or just plain ol' Jack fans.

I gotta say, I'm loving the idea of Kai Leng and TIM killing Oriana in retribution for Miranda's betrayal of Cerberus. Obviously this is a horrible act, but that would be a powerful mission from an emotional and story telling aspect. I mean, I hope BW is going to make sure we have a very good reason for wanting Cerberus destroyed other than "um...and yeah, your allies are bad now!" This would more than fit the bill.

Couple a dead-sister-revenge plot with the VS/Miranda drama and there is fertile ground for story telling. Actually, Miranda's character has a lot of interesting story potential just because of her rank in Cerberus, but this could definitely be expanded. Hopefully BW is still interested in that, and I'm clinging to hope that ME3 has many side missions dedicated to expanding/closing back stories from previous fan favorite characters.

More options in an RPG are, in my opinion, always a good thing.

More options regarding Miranda would be awesome.

More choices, more dialogue, more involvement, more interaction. This is what I want to  see. :wizard:

I personally thought the final 'friendship' conversation with Miranda was pretty good (I only play FemShep so that's what I got). However, I did wish it developed past that...but it kinda shuts down and that sucks.

In my first ME2 pt....I finished up all of Miranda's dialog super early (hers was the first LM I finished) and she didn't speak to me for like...24 hours of gameplay before the suicide mission triggered...and I was disappointed. It's like, they established a budding friendship between her and FemShep but just dropped it and ignored it for the remainder of the game...bleh.

I blame this on the sheer amount of squadmates available for ME2 => dialogue spread a little thin.
Personally I wanted to talk more with Jack, Tali and oh yes: Garrus.

I prefer fewer squadmates like ME1 and DA2 for sure. DA:O wasn't too bad either. But we had 12 in ME2? 5 LI? Almost as many LI as ME1 squadmembers.

Funny that you mention Jack...I had the same problem with her too.  Even moreso...the final 'friend' dialog was very sucky  I mean, I just basically helped her fight all her demons and then she totally closes up after that.  She really had nothing else to say beyond "I'm not into the girls club gtfo".

I personally don't think the loyalty missions should have been an end to the relationship with a character but the beginning. They could have done so much with that but didn't.  You can only go further with a romance, but that's only like a few more convos....I just feel like, I kinda know these characters but at the same time, I don't really.

I didn't feel so bad with Tali, as she was in ME1 first and I kinda knew what she was about from that game.

Tali: True enough
Jack: She keeps telling me to "F*ck off" :(

I think the loyalty missions were created to get to know the character and bring the player into their problems firsthand, instead of just talking about it on the Normandy.

But I agree some more friendship dialogue couldn't hurt :wizard:

I agree with this.  I think they did a good job with that.  Similar to how the DA2 companion missions were the way in which you got to know them better.  But in that game, I think they did a better job of continuing the friendship beyond the missions and even developing the companions more via squad banter.  Wouldn't it have been cool if someone like Samara commented on Miranda's loyalty misson (given Samara's troubled relationship with family)?  Or Garrus?  I say...yes!

I just feel like, after you do get to know them for the first time, a little further development (on the friend path) would be gravy.  I've finally gotten to know you better...now what?  There really wasn't anything beyond that.  I hope ME3 takes that and devs the relationships more.
