Any decent person would be undergoing some serious self-reflection if they were in Miranda's shoes.
Agreed. Which is one reason why
the absence of any dialogue at all where Miranda reflects on her time at Cerberus (still having a hard time believing this is actually the case) is so ridiculous. She didn't only work there, she was devoted to the cause (as she understood it), and was high up in the organisation.
So, you can do a story where Miranda's understanding of her work and the organisation's true nature have evolved to the point where she regrets her past involvement and works to destroy what remains (not my favorite scenario, but a credible choice). OR you can do a scenario where her goal is to reform Cerberus into the organisation she always thought it should be ("That wasn't Cerberus, not really."), which is my favorite scenario, and the more interesting choice.
But you cannot credibly do a story where Miranda acts as if her past involvement with Cerberus never happened, she has nothing to say about it, and feels no responsability for what the organisation has become (or, perhaps, always was).
Whoever wrote Kelly did a better job with this in a single dialogue than Miranda's writer did in 4 or 5.
