So I take it there is no romance scene between Miranda and Shepard after Sanctuary?

Same here
I'm ok with Miranda's ME3 romance scene in itself but compared with Ash etc ... that's quite a cheap shot from BW.

I don't understand why BioWare didn't add any "wake up" scene with Miranda or Shepard. Or maybe having Shepard look at Miranda sleeping as he left? I mean really? That would show some emotion. Or they both kiss each other and Shepard leaves. Sheesh. I have to head cannon this stuff.

I don't know I never got the opition to tell Miranda It was on auto Diologue for that scene, were we told we could tell Miranda our selves.
For a Game based around your dicisions I feel they left us with very little choice for the last game 8/...
Though the game was good and i got the whole self sacrifice thing because from what i understand in both choices the ending seemed grim for Shepard I could be wrong it's what I understood from it.
I Just feel like Miranda was lacking and Maybe it's me just being bitter from that and I don't recall who said it but the game ends with Space Gilligan's Island.

Well, especially when you consider that, seemingly, breaking up with her = death sentence for her
So, poorly implemented romance content makes sense from that point of view

So this is confirmed ? I thought (and hoped) this was just rumor we had based on the leak.
How does she die if you do break up with her ?

Agreed, it really seems abrupt.
I would have loved to see Shepard looking at Miranda passionately or both cuddling and kissing each other. I would have been " Dawwwww
*sarcastic mode*
If you think about it, ME3 is the ultimate role-playing experience.
With all these omissions, you are able to head cannon so much things : the romance scene itself, after the romance scene etc... and even the endings. This is mind-blowing.

I don't know why Bioware stayed away from the three words. It's silly really. I would of at the very least had an "I love you" exchange in the last vidcomm scene if I were writing that scene.

It goes like this: if you break up with her, she won't contact you again. Which means you can't warn her about Kai Leng. Which means she isn't prepared for him.
Or so I suspect. Haven't seen it of course.

I think "I love you" has become trite. It's appropriate in the death version, but usually the sentiment is better expressed in other ways.jbajcar wrote...

If you can't warn her about Leng this is indeed plausible.
It makes sense she doesn't contact you again, the first man she truely loved just broke her heart, I heard she even runs off crying when Shepard tells her that. I guess this is what you get for being a jerk.
However I don't know if this is OOC or not. She loved him but could that broken love overcome the strong women she is ? Well, seemingly yes but ...

I haven't personally confirmed it, but it seems that she won't contact you again after the first dialogue if you break up, which would guarantee her death for the reasons Ieldra states.
In light of that, the half-hearted implementation of the romance becomes laughable, really.

I'm not sure that her deciding not to contact Shepard again is out of character, but I'm pretty sure that designing that scenario to be an automatic death and pushing it as the canon/preferred scenario is another thing entirely, and separate from the question of whether it is "in character" or not

I'm enjoying all the characters thus far. Miranda and others not being squadmates makes the world feel more alive than before.

Indeed, when I first saw the other characters and was surprsied about how great it all was, I thought I was most likely getting my hopes up for nothing. I was wrong, the first encounter with Miri was great, I enjoyed it far more than any point during the ME2 arc. I am really enjoying, even though I feel like I am bombarded with info and tasks constantly, when in ME2 you'd lose the sense of urgency after each mission.
I don't have time to miss Miri on the ship, but when I met her it was great. Can't wait to see her again, but until then the two characters have other things to take care of.

I was playing through Korlus (Grunt's Recruitment Mission) and upon hearing the Tank Bred's story about how Okeer rejected him for not being perfect, I started musing on what a tragic loss it was that Miranda didn't pronounce herself on a subject she would be so familiar with.
Then this popped up.

And I am left wondering if Miranda was talking from personal experience and if the devs actually saw the connection and this was intentional.

I just finished Sanctuary. Is her death scene on YouTube yet? I'd like to see it, I don't think I could ever have her be killed on a playthrough to see it. Or could someone at least describe it to me?
And I will get one more scene/conversation right?

Well, I haven't gotten to Horizon yet. I'm just finishing up the Rannoch section, BUT I will say that though I broke up with her (it killed me to do so, but my shep was gay and only straight for Miranda), I have been able to warn her about Kai Leng and provide her with Alliance resources. Miranda is loyal from Me2 in my playthrough.
My reputation is fairly high and will be higher by the time I get to Horizon, so...*fingers crossed*

You'll find links to her scenes in the Miranda Story and Character discussion Group (link in my sig). There's one more vidcomm conversation right before the final battle. It is nice but very short.EpisodeSkywalker wrote...
I liked Miranda's role in ME3. I wish I could have seen her more, but I was happy with what we did get. I think her being a bigger part in ME3 than most of the other ME2 characters os making me feel better though

I'm doing a non-import playthrough myself and will be interested to see what outcome I can get there.
