I'm sure this has already been said in the 1500+ pages there are now so I apologize in advance if I am stating the same thing over again. On a personal level, I really hope that ME3 integrates some/all of the permanent squad mates in ME2 to become permanent squad mates in ME3 in some sort of DLC. I say DLC because obviously the game is already released. It would make for an even longer gameplay to have sub-plots for all of these characters perhaps similar to loyalty missions in ME2. If executed properly, I would like to see that once the DLC has been purchased, you can almost immediately use the ME2 squad mates should you choose to start the game over again. In other words, once you regroup with your old squad mates in the Citadel, you have the option of bringing them aboard the Normandy to use them as squad mates.

For those that don't like the idea, the answer is simple, don't download the DLC. For those interested, go ahead and download it. Mass Effect is all about the story-line (for the most part) including the development of characters and their relationships with one-another. This is one of the things I thought lacked in ME3 (as far as I have played) - the lack of relationships between the characters. (Ex: Jack and Miranda's constant bickering towards each other).

Please, BioWare/EA, can you somehow integrate the use of old squad mates to ME3 at some point?

Not sure, but it appears to be a factor - as opposed to not having romanced her at all, which doesn't appear to have bad consequences if she's loyal.

If your male shep tells Ashley he wants to try to repair their love for each other. Ashley confronts Shepard about Miranda in the first conversation.  I was like wow... how did Ashley know?

Speculation:  Miranda says she has to talk to a few people... Would Miranda risk seeing Ashley and telling her to back off, he's mine.   Maybe if Ashley wasn't awake?   

Just a thought that ran through my mind.  Miranda isn't about to share him.  So my male shep told Ashley he didn't know.  He didn't want to start any relationship with Ashley but friends would be good.  It will be interesting to see the udina coup... I am about to go there.  God, I hope my rep is good enough but Shepards been nicer to Ashley as opposed to the beginning.  Ashley getting hurt scared him.  

Anyways, my maleshep is staying with Miranda.    

Even so, I am still wondering what kind of scene will come up if you tell both that you still love them. Well, I guess I have to find out for myself.

I'm wondering, I romanced Miranda in ME2 but started romancing Ashley in ME3. I told her I still wanted her and all. Then Miranda came up and I told her the same thing. I continued pursuing both relationship as much as possible. Then, Miranda came up first and I ended up "consumating" our love. Is it gonna stop my relationship with Ashley or is their a way to get ashley after that too?

I'm pretty sure your locked in with Miranda if you been in bed with her, after you hit that point other character seem to know you have someone waiting for you, Ashley lock in point doesnt seem to come until after you take care of quarians and geth she'll want to meet you back on the citadel, not 100% sure on that since haven't down a ash/miranda playthrough yet but do know thoughs are each character lock in points

Some players have reported Miranda dying where:

- You break up with her
- You give her alliance resources
- you have high reputation and manage to paragon convince the dad
- You warn her about Kai Leng

While breaking up with Miranda doesn't preclude the ability to give alliance resources and warn her about Kai Leng, I think the key MIGHT be the fact that once you break up with her, you don't have the rest of that initial conversation about the illusive man and Miranda's sister. She doesn't end up telling you as much. This conversation is available though if you never romanced her or if you continue the romance.

We'll see. I'll confirm results once I've finished the Horizon mission.

from what I heard, Ash was suppose to ask you to pursue a relationship when you meat her on the citadel (not in the hospital). I went there, I met her but there was no such options. At that point I already slept with Miranda. I guess this was the locking point. I'm not sure yet though. Still have a few things to do.

That's interesting.  It seems to confirm what's being said in the spoiler group about Miranda and Ashley's lock-in points.  3rd conversation sleep with Miranda and Ashley's lock-in after the quarian geth? and meeting at the citadel.

I just finished to udina coup and learned from Anderson and Hackett about Kai Lang.  Haven't received Miranda's second conversation yet.  I've read it's after you meet with Tali?  I thought it was just after the coup?  I've checked the spectre terminal and so far it's not lit up.  Did a few quest turn ins.  I just hope I don't miss contacting and warning Miranda about Kia Lang. *worries*

hahaha didn't even know there was a Tali drunk moment. What does she say?

I think what she says varies a bit depending on whether Miranda survives or not. Either way though, Tali talks about Miranda's refusal to compromise who she was to please her father and is reflecting on her own situation based on that, etc..

I really love Miranda she is still of my favorite characters but I'm much more happy with the Ashley romance and plan on sticking with it permanently
