I also just finished the "miranda mission" on Horizon and I brought Ash with me. There is no conversation about anything relationship. Even though I said to Ash that Miranda meant nothing and, then went to bed with Miranda didn't brought anything up. So I guess my choice is made and locked!
I wanted the Ash relationship because it felt more real than with Miranda, even though I really like the character. Anyway, I'm pretty sure 3rd time you see Miranda is the lock up point.

Well, that's dissaponting. I was hoping for an option to tell Ashley to go to Hell after her "Real Person" line.Vertigo_1 wrote...

Bringing Ash to Miranda's mission = no real dialogue to note (I brought her with me in my first playthrough.
Guess I'll have to content myself with Virmire.

Is it bad? Yes. The stuff in the broker file should have been in the main game, voiced. But it requires a patch job, not a wholesale reinvention of Miranda. At least in the version I played, I can still see my girl. "Things I could never have?" Didn't hear that. No idea what you're talking about. My Miranda was too busy calling Shep a bastard.

LOL. Why did she?jtav wrote...
I just finished Sanctuary. Miranda survived. As much as I'm displeased with her (lack of) relevance, I find myself not too enraged. It's not good, but on paper it's not bad. I mean she really did break into a Cerberus facility, cause chaos and escape Leng with minor injuries. She may have been a "damsel in distress" but she doesn't feel weak on first viewing. And she still has that subtly teasing/flirty relationship with Shep. I love how the idea of promises keeps coming up. And finally hearing the ME2 love theme feels like a reward.

I'm not at Sanctuary yet (can't play atm) but I think I'll pretty much have the same review on it.
Yes it's bad, but it is still "our girl" Miranda.
Why did she call Shep a bastard, is it because you wounded Oriana ?

I, Oh God, I SINCERELY Hope That Saying "No Promises" Does NOT Cause Miri To Die! NOW I'M FREAKING OUT AGAIN!!!!
It doesn't, chill. Unless the death comes at the end. I still have the final hour of the game left, me thinks.

No idea, I saw it as the sort of "Miri/Shep" humor. At least in my scenario Oriana didn't get hurt. So that can't be the reason.

No it's one of romance exclusive dialogs:
Miranda: Promise me you'll be careful...
Shepard: I can't do that Miranda...
Miranda: I know... (smiling) bastard

I think you get these lines only if you chose "No promises" in ME2.
I like that they refuse to promise to each others in all the conversations except for the last one.

Thanks Vertigo.
That's a good romance dialog, it probably echoes to the "no promises" Miranda says the first time they met on the Citadel (and maybe to the ME2 promise scene), I love that teasing

1st part of your post: I doubt that, have you imported a romance with Shep promising her in ME2 yet?
And I agree about the second part, it's very touching

Yeah, it goes back and forth between the two (the no promises line) throughout their meetings

You think they tracked which option you chose in ME2? Can anyone confirm this? Is there anyone here who chose "I promise" in ME2 and didn't get that dialogue in ME3? Because I think they rather tracked how many people chose which option in ME2 and based their dialogue on the more popular one.Yannkee wrote...

No but when she refuses to promise during the conversation on the Citadel, I think she mention that Shepard couldn't do that before. So I think the response in ME2 has an impact, but you're right, we should wait that someone who chose "I promise" in ME2 confirms this.

About the endings, there're rumors about a possible fixing-DLC but I have big doubts about it, but *if* we could see them reunited I may close my eyes on the ME2 cast sidelining which irritates me so much and start to love this game.

I would probably make an another playthrough if we can see them together once again, but I doubt they will make this kind of DLC.
Ok time to post some great screenshots :

Why did I get Liara's picture at the end when Shepard thinks of important people to him? Does that always happen?
Due to technical issues they never got a chance to fix this part (it was suppose to show your LI but it defaults to Liara if you romanced any of the ME2 romances; including Tali and Garrus...yep)
Not sure if they will fix it though, most folks are more angry about the endings right now...
Then again we can fix it ourselves (to an extent)...just need a good 3 second clip of her and replace the Liara vid with the Miranda one
Technical issues? Right...if that's what you want to believe I suppose. Most of us really know that BioWare is extremely infatuated with Liara, and has done the impossible to shove her down the throats of even those of us who aren't fans of her; to the extent that she got Miranda's former office in the Normandy SR-2 and now she's in Shepard's flashback even if he romanced Miranda or someone from ME2. The sad thing is that BioWare thinks we're so stupid that we won't notice this or will believe that crap of an excuse about a "technical issue." Oh well, what can we do?

Just remembering that ONE Smile keeps Me going:wub:.
I have to find a Way to Destroy the Reapers WITHOUT wiping out all life in the Galaxy, so that it will only kill the Reapers. I have to Make Sure Miri will be on Earth as Well. There IS a way to Destroy the Reapers WITHOUT wiping out all life in the Galaxy, BUT....I'm not sure how to Make Sure I Succeed In THIS.

She's definitely really cute in that little exchange. Miranda tends to hold her emotions within and not show them publicly. So, in that scene I feel like it's one of the rare moments where she probably let a little of her bottled happiness show.
Miranda is also on Earth and not the Normandy in the end so just find a way to survive and finding her will fit within the canon that Bioware has provided.
