WTF? My Readiness Rating was at 100%, but now it's decreasing. Why? Is it because I got it from Multi-Player? Why do I have to keep it Constant?

Don't worry about it. Galactic Readiness is irrelevant for what you want, which is to save Miranda.

I have to worry about THAT too. I need to keep it at 100% and above 5000. Why is it decreasing automatically?:(

The Readiness Rating drops by a percent every day that you don't play MP.  It only takes a couple of wins on Bronze to increase your rating by a few percentage points.  So, play a couple of matches every few days and you can keep it close to 100%.

Oh Ok. I need to keep the Galaxy Looking Blue.

Because that's how they wanted it, so there would be incentive to play MP more, I guess.

You don't need it at 100% to keep Miranda alive. I was probably in the high 80s when I got to Sanctuary. My readiness was probably above 5000, though.

I actually didn't even realize Miranda could die until I came in here and read it.

Just finished Sanctuary. I must say this, too, works much better than expected from watching the footage (this is becoming a pattern, LOL). You really get the impression that Miranda has done something impressive there. The confrontation with her father still disappoints by skirting all the interesting issues and having Miranda say exactly two words to him, but again, actions speak louder than words.

So....I can't complain. In comparison with other characters, even some team members, Miranda is well represented.

Just finished Sanctuary too Ieldra.

I was a bit sceptical at first about her actions in Sanctuary because I didn't see a lot of footage  but she did great "more than we could have hoped for" lol. A pity a lot of this is offscreen but that's definitely our Miranda here.
I was dissapointed by the encounter with Henry though, I wish we would could have had some dialogues between them.
Seeing her unleashing her biotics on him made me scream "YES !" in front of my TV, she is finally released from her old nightmares, and the "No deal", pretty badass in my opinion.
The romance lines here and there are nice : "Did you worry?" or the hug at the end with the "Bastard" line.
Compared to what the other ME2 characters have, this is solid, they involved her in a critical main mission and with a decent amount of lines.

I must say that I suprised myself to be so involved during this particular mission, my heart was racing, a bit nervous and I was destroying anything that could get in my way, I needed to find Miranda as fast as possible.
I couldn't help myself smiling at the end and the "Reflections" theme from ME2 was a nice touch, I know it's canon but it added a tender and loving atmosphere to the conversation between Miranda and Shepard.

Hah I found myself doing the same thing. I was actually a bit surprised this didn't happen, but it would have been a amazing for one of your squadmates to even ask something like "Are you worried Shepard?", while you infiltrated sanctuary. It would have been a really nice touch to the scene if you had romanced her.

While I agree that Miranda's content is really good in term of quality, I can't forgive the lack of screen time, the reduced role, and the absence of a satisfactory conclusion.

Yes, it worked much better than I could have hoped. She's extremely capable, and never feels weak, even if she does call herself a damsel in distress. The subtle humor is still there, as is the subtly challenging relationship. She has narrative significance, and the assault on the station is only a surprise if she lives. Thanks to the email, I don't get the since that she'll be reformed any time soon. She's doing good, but she's doing it on her terms. Even her asset description helps a bit. "As comfortable in the boardroom as the battlefield?" Humanity's going to need that to rebuild. Shepard has had his hour, but the next belongs to her. And the romance is adorable. Even more than in ME2, they seem like a matched pair, mutually besotted and playful. Neither dominates the other. They're going to be very happy together. And I refuse to believe there's no future for them. Somehow, she'll find him.

I don't like how broken she is in the extended death scene, but I see that as a sop to those who don't like her. A person who completes her dialogue will get her killed nearly instantly at worst. The only thing I really hate is that breaking up damns her. Was that really necessary? Though I don't have the heart to see the breakup ever again anyway.

I haven't seen the extended death scene but I'll watch it on Youtube.

As for the break-up damning her, I don't like it, that's irrelevant, unless you consider that being heartbroken and demoralized may affect your behaviour and performance in battle and against Kai Leng there's no room for that but still...
Yeah, the break-up scene is so sad ... though I like that she remains proud and refuses Shepard to see her crying by turning her back to him.

She'll find him and/or vice versa. ;)

Having finished it, what I saw of Miranda was good. Before I started that final run, I was kinda buoyed up on hope after that final vidcall with her. Shepard goes in, kicks Reaper arse, saves the day and gets to live out the rest of his life with his love.

Afterwards? My flabber was well and truly ghasted. Words can not express how I felt.

On a different note, something I found elsewhere:

I think this about reflects my feelings on the issue, as well.

He'll come back. If this were a comic I'd expect a Synthesis Shep back within four issues. I simply refuse to accept death.

He promised Miranda, he can't die.
I headcanoned a reunion scene between them for the destroy and synthesis endings.

About that promise...
Is it just me, or did it matter what you said in ME2 when she told you to come out alive? "I promise/No promises(hug scene)"
Did it change any dialogue in ME3? I had the impression...

I was thinking of something like this, the first one that came to mind was the control ending, largely as he'd be able to rebuild his body afterwards, but the synthesis option probably works better over all.

"I promised Miranda that I'd see her afterwards. I keep my promises."

Destroy they give you on a silver platter, but I find the cost too high. I already killed the quarians. I won't exterminate geth. Syntheis I find easy to headcanon his return. Control is the hardest. Best I can do there is Shepard commanding the Reapers to bring Ori to her and Miranda finding some way to join him in a century or so.

Indeed the destroy ending makes it really easy to imagine them reunited. Normally I wouldn't mind destroying all synthetics and I would definitely want to wipe the Reaper plague out but the Geth (and EDI) are good "people" and the Quarians need their help.

For the Synthesis, I imagine something like Shepard being some kind of Dr Manhattan, rebuilding himself from his thought and becoming some kind of god. He would have no trouble finding his Love.
I'm still hesitating between those two options for my canon Shep.

I haven't really thought of a control headcanon though, I don't find it as interesting as the other two.

What I liked to know is what saves her in ME3? Because like I said, she's can be alive regardless of romance. Is it the Alliance data you give her?

Yes, and passing the rep check or taking the interrupt on Sanctuary.

I'd say that it's either the Alliance data, although the Mass Effect wiki lists this - " To keep Miranda alive read the dossier on Kai from your mail console, then read the mail that Miranda wants to meet for the second time. Go
meet via video conference in the Spectre office on the ambassador level of the Citadel. Warn her about Kai Lang."

However, if you read http://masseffect.wi...n#Mass_Effect_3, it also covers how to keep her alive later on in the game.

I can never choose any other ending than the destroy. The others are just far too horrible in comparison, imo. Geth ain't living things, so they're expendable. In my book: If you can't feel you're expendable. Besides the two other endings would exclude me from the romance and life that I had wanted for Miri and Shep.

I'm with ya on this too. At least we have this to go off while other romances are screwed haha

My real question, as the story pertains to Miranda, is where was she during the final battle?

I read on the Shadow Broker terminal that she was leading strikes against Cerberus assets at the behest of Hacket, but did she join the armada to attack the Reapers in Sol?

If she did, the Destroy ending works out because she could not only meet back up with Shepard, but if anyone could help him recover from his injuries it would be Miranda.

It's not clear. She's either with Ori or leading a team of her own. I prefer option two. She's a fighter pilot in Sword.
